Formed on December 1st 2008, ALBRA was the first political alliance of Brazil, officially reuniting the parties Uniao Socialista Brasileira and Demokratas. PRDB was also a member of ALBRA, but not officially, because their party president was gone.
The party changed its name back to Uniao Socialista Brasileira in 2009. It had 309 members during its existence.
