The Chairman of Congress, often abbreviated as CoC is a user-created position that exists in many eNations such as the Netherlands and Switzerland. The Chairman of Congress takes care of the congress section on the forum and keeps things moving along. The Chairman of Congress is to take appropriate action against members of congress who are acting inappropriately in that section of the forum. An appropriate action might be temporary or permanent dismissal from the forum or from a particular issue.
The Chairman of Congress is to keep congress discussion running smoothly and see that decisions are made in a timely manner. The Chairman of Congress is responsible for encouraging congress to be active and to participate in government. The Chairman of Congress might open discussions about creating new Laws or deleting old Laws. The Chairman of Congress will also have the power to moderate discussions by closing them or modifying the comments when inappropriate.
It is expected that the Chairman of Congress will remain neutral and impartial at all times.
