yeah I do that too, and make loads of changes :P I´ll try to be more thorough --Daniel Parker 01:25, 3 December 2009 (UTC)

Heya!

Nice to see you have started a wiki page also! RetroX 15:09, 15 December 2009 (UTC)

Just on a note: I reverted your change on my page because, like I mentioned before: the official country name is Netherlands, not United Netherlands. If you would like to use United Netherlands that is fine but do not alter it on other people pages. thank you. --15:09, 15 December 2009 (UTC)RetroX

Oops, I edited all dutch citizens 0_o will change it back lateron. I used your page as my template, and only added a timeline and the military part. --Daniel Parker 15:18, 15 December 2009 (UTC)

Lol, ok. The layout I am using is based on the layout of yet another user (cannot remember who, I believe someone from India). RetroX 15:44, 15 December 2009 (UTC)

Netherland laws

  • Hello! Could you put all laws of Netherlands on one page. We don't need a lot of pages with only a few sentences saying some law in Netherlands (like the Official language Netherlands‎ -page is totally useless with few lines of text). Thank you! --Icon-Finland.png sampo555 | Talk 21:23, 29 January 2011 (UTC)
    • Well they are separate laws, I'm posting them as we use them. trust me, the language law is a very delicate matter. There are many other laws I'm adding, many are more than just a few sentences, the language law is an exception. --Daniel Parker 21:27, 29 January 2011 (UTC)
      • I hope you're right. I'll check these out once you have completed the pages. --Icon-Finland.png sampo555 | Talk 21:30, 29 January 2011 (UTC)
        • I merged the smaller laws in Lawbook of the Netherlands, but given the larger laws their own page. I nominated the official language Netherlands page for deletion --Daniel Parker 22:35, 29 January 2011 (UTC)

Netherlands vs. Nederland

  • May I ask why the same page is in two different locations? --Icon-Finland.png sampo555 | Talk 20:37, 3 March 2011 (UTC)
    • idea was to have Nederland for a Dutch translation (it's the Netherlands in dutch) Someone was supposed to work on that translation, but I guess it would also be better to make that a referral to Netherlands/Nederlands page instead, and have that one translated --Icon-Netherlands.png Daniel Parker 18:04, 8 March 2011 (UTC)
      • Well, translations should be located as sub-page of the English page - not where it would go if you name it with the translated name. You can use {{DISPLAYTITLE:Nederland}} to change the name of the translation. And if that's used and user tries to search the page with the word 'Nederland', it'll show up in the search results. I'll move it to the right location and sort this out. --Icon-Finland.png sampo555 | Talk 18:21, 8 March 2011 (UTC)
      • Oh, the Netherlands page hasn't even been translated. You might want to put somebody to do that. --Icon-Finland.png sampo555 | Talk 18:24, 8 March 2011 (UTC)
        • your setup sounds better indeed, I'll remind someone to work on the translation. --Icon-Netherlands.png Daniel Parker 18:29, 8 March 2011 (UTC)
          • translation is done! However, what bothers me a bit is that if you search for 'Nederland' the article doesn't show up in the results, any ideas on this? --Icon-Netherlands.png Daniel Parker 14:06, 31 March 2011 (UTC)

Re: Newspapers

I had seen the last edited date was way over a year old, and this was part of a rather large newspaper article clearout (you can see the wiki discussion in the bar). Feel free to remake them, but make them worthwhile (i.e content-filled) articles, otherwise they're frankly useless on the wiki. John F. Baker Icon-UK.png (Talk | Contribs) 15:03, 26 June 2011 (PDT)

Edit war

Dear editor, it seems that there is a lot of undoing of Kordak edits and then undoing of undoing of undoing. As my task as a sysop is to review all edits on this wikipedia, which takes a lot of my time, please take your time and write what really happened while Kordak was a President, with trying to be as objective as you can, or all editors involved will be issued some kind of penalty. Thank you for your time to write your feedback. --AndyCro Icon-Croatia.png Do you need assistance? Then ask me! ;)) 20:53, 17 March 2014 (UTC)

Hi Andycro, I suspect you are referring to the page of NL presidents (which I created years ago and try to maintain). Here Kordak writes in his own Euology that he started a babyboom. This is incorrect, a standard erepublik PM/email was sent out to all inactive/dead users notifying the Netherlands was under attack by eGermany. Kordak happened to be CP at the time, this is merely coincidental. Since I found it a rather strange claim. I looked futher into Kordaks edits, and saw for instance that Kordak edited an historic article article about the United Netherlands (also one we of the WikiProject Netherlands try to maintain. It seems Kordak has been adding alot of fictious information on the wikipedia, claiming he is king of the United Netherlands, while that claim is nowhere recognized in either the Netherlands or Belgium. --Icon-Canada.png Icon-Netherlands.png Daniel Parker. I removed that from the historic United Netherlands page, and added a fictional banner on the latter. Although if he contests that, I'd rather opt for deletion since it is unreferenced and unfounded. --Icon-Canada.png Icon-Netherlands.png Daniel Parker 21:21, 17 March 2014 (UTC)
I nominated this page to be deleted, but keeping a copy here now: User:Daniel_Parker/backups/Kingdom_eUNL --Icon-Canada.png Icon-Netherlands.png Daniel Parker 20:36, 1 April 2014 (UTC)
