Iasov died in January 2011, on the very eve of congressional elections while serving as the Libertarian Party President. The coroner's report indicates that cause of death was a result of acute, unexplainable, and nonredeemable shame.

Iasov was a former President of the Libertarian Party, a United States political party that is one of the longest-lasting parties in eRepublik history. He was a 6-time Congressman, and a United States Workers Party Executive Board Emeritus Member.
