The Macedonian Phalanx is one of the oldest Military Units in Greece.
To join this unit you need an invitation from the Commander.
The 1st Macedonian Phalanx was formed on eRepublik day 670, by Makedonissa.
After the introduction of Military Units in eRepublik, the Macedonian Phalanx was officially introduced as one, on day 1,200 by Makedonissa.
During the summer of 2011, kalodios was appointed as Commander and he managed to keep the high standards of the unit and on December 2011, Makedonissa returned as Commander. During his term as Greek President (July 2012), Makedonissa appointed deb8 as Commander and on November 2012 kalodios took his place.
In April 2014 it was discovered that k0llht0s was the Commander, while in February 2018 Commander was (is) The Hierophant V.
