The mentors are here to ease you into your work in the wiki by critiquing your work, providing advice, and being a resource when you need help. The Mentor Program is not indefinite. Once you gain confidence and and competence you will graduate from the program. Most likely the official Mentor-Mentee relationship will last 1-3 months, depending on the level of commitment to the wiki. Hopefully, once you graduate, you will want to serve the community yourself by becoming a mentor to another new user.
