Congress of Israel 2023

In 2023, the Congressional elections take place on the 25th day of each month and the Congress is inaugurated two days later, on the 27th of each month. Citizens vote for national party lists instead of individual candidates.

In March 2023, Israel had 7 regions under its control which meant that a maximum of 40 Congress members could be elected to the Congress. Due to the lack of Congress candidates, only 22 Congress members were elected, while 18 seats remained empty.
