9월 25일, 2012년부터 특정 후보를 투표하는 것이 아닌, 지지하는 당을 선거하도록 바뀌었습니다.t

정치 모듈의 변화

• 당 소속 멤버들은 지금과 마찬가지로 후보 등록을 하고 본인의 당 후보 리스트에 추가 됩니다.
• 당 대표들은 모든 지역의 후보자들을 볼 수 있습니다.
• 매 25일 00:00시에 5대 당들은 국회의원 후보를 가질 수 있게 됩니다.
• 23일 02:00시와 26일 06:00 사이에 지역을 잃게 되어도 국회의석수는 수정 되지 않습니다.
• A country will have a congress election if they have at least a region on every month on 23rd 02:00 and 25th 00:00 and 26th 06:00

• 당 대표는 매달 24일마다 다음 방식에 따라 후보를 결정합니다:

당 X는 10명의 후보를 다음과 같은 순서를 결정하였습니다:

선거 당일, 시민들은 이러한 순서를 볼 수 없지만 쉬운 결정을 하기 위해 당을 투표합니다. 만약 당이 100표중 50표를 받았다면 (50%), 최종 5명의 후보는 국회의원이 됩니다.

그런데, 당이 4명의 후보밖에 없었고 50%의 지지를 받았다면 한자리는 공석으로 그 달을 보냅니다.

국회의원이 되야하는 이유?

본인의 기술을 늘리는 동시에 국가의 발전에 기여할 수 있는 기회입니다. 국회의원, 대통령의 도움으로 국가 정치와 경제의 안정을 보장할 수 있습니다.

국회의원은 다음과 같은 법안을 제출할 수 있습니다: 국고에서 Organization으로 얼만큼의 골드와 화폐를 옮길 것인지, {{L|Taxes|세금 변경]], 최저임금, 대통령 탄핵 (강제로 대통령을 하야시키는 제안) 또는 시민권 허락

You also have the power to express your vote regarding: the Welcome message to new citizens, Hospital and Defense system acquisitions, Alliances of your country, declaring war and peace proposals, and stopping trade with other countries.

What do you have to do to become member of Congress?

In order to be a candidate for the congressional elections, you need at least 100 experience points (level 12) and you also must convince your party president to approve your nomination for a congressional seat.

Voting Process

You can see the time of announcing official results from the election page.

At 00:00 (eRepublik time) on the 26th of each month, the voting ends for the Congressional candidates. The final results are released 6 hours the next day as part of the Anti-Cheating Project undertaken by eRepublik Admin on Day 912 (May 20, 2010). From 00:00 to 06:00, there is a delay, during which the results for the election are displayed as Intermediate Results. The previous month's congress members keep their seats during this time, whilst Admin checks that no Multi-accounts were used to elected congress members. Rewards and Alerts are then sent to the members, if they are legitimately elected, and the results in the election are changed to Official results.

Important notes

If you become a member of Congress, you receive 20 experience points and a 5 골드 reward. Candidates running for congress are not allowed to resign from the party they run for during the election day, but can change their location within the country. Elected members of Congress also have the ability to change their residence without effect on their congressional status, and they can also resign from their seat in Congress. Only top 5 parties (at 00:00 of 25th) will have candidates in congressional elections. Country Presidents cannot run for Congress elections.

WARNING!

If you applied for Congress in your party and the region from where you applied is conquered until 25th of the month at 00:00, you will lose candidacy.
You can avoid this situation if you are located in another region from your citizenship country until 25th of the month at 00:00. Once you got removed from the list, you can not be added back unless you reapply.
