Cerescu Nicolai is a citizen of 
Romania, former citizen of the 
Republic of Moldova.
Politics
He was an active politician and was elected in a Congress on 4 occasions. He was a member of the political party Partidul Renasterii Nationale. In February 2011 he was presidential candidate to become President of the Republic of Moldova, however, lost in a two-man battle against Mikael Kanto who got 220 votes, while Cerescu only got 116 votes.
