Birth
Apotygma was born August 11, 2009 in Flanders, is home land. This was at that day under the control of eUnited Netherlands because of the merger with eBelgium that was active at that time. He joined during what we call "The jeuxvideo.com babyboom" organized by the eFrench government on one of the biggest french gaming sites in the world. This site was convinced to publish a whole article about eRepublik.
This article can be found here. More than 20.000 people joined that at time, most in France but a lot also in Wallonia. Due to this, a strong nationalistic feeling rose up in Belgium pushing a lot of citizens to go out of the merger.
Despite this, a lot of them where convinced that this was the best to do. Apotygma was along this and started to work to make this work. A lot of people saw his hard work and only a small month after he joined, he was named Minister in eUNL.
Minister
Apotygma was named Minister of State Companies in eUNL after the amazing work of Cocamok. He ran them successfully selling the production of Q5 hospitals to other countries, introducing contracts and recruiting new managers. Due to IRL reasons he had no choice than to stop his work after one month despite the request all the parties made to him.
He was followed up by Auggustus.
He was also involved as Head Coach, coaching new citizens through their first days in eRepublik. He also organized the recruitment incentives in order to join eRepublik. He personally invited more than 50 people on his own and led 11 to lvl 6+.
Belgian occupation by "The Group"
After a period of two clicking, Apotygma was asked to stand up as Party president of "The Benelux Party" in Belgium that was under the control of The Group at that time. Belgium was suffering and Apotygma could not leave this call unanswered.
He stayed there until the "liberation" of eBelgium by eUK. After this, he chose to stay in United Kingdom until a decision would be taken about the future of Belgium.

Newspaper
Apotygma, as Press director, used his newspaper to spread his knowledge about economics and his political views. This was first done in the newspaper called "Open eyes, open Mind" before changing the name to "Investor Chronicles" in order to relate better to the main topics treated in the newspaper.
The most read article was about "How to start a profitable business", published all over the world and brought him hundreds of subs. This articles are still renowned as some of the best about how to start your own business, one of the most important parts of the game in eRepublik.
Most of the articles are related to the experience Apotygma made up along with some of the greatest minds in eRepublik, people that are old Beta survivors. The goal was to allow everyone to share it and rise in order to remain active.
In Real Life
Apotygma is a 19 years old Belgian citizen following studies of Commercial Engineer (Handelsingenieur in dutch) at the K.U.Leuven. This studies in economics where used to provide useful information about the eRepublik economics and help the people to understand how things work.

Avatar
The Avatars used by Apotygma are all based on the character of Elisha Cuthbert. She is a Canadian actress that played in several series and movies the last few years. She is famous mainly because of here role in the series '24' as Kim Bauer and The Girl Next Door. More information can be found about here on the wikipedia page. She has been used by Apotygma in several election campaigns since his arrival in eUK, more or less successfully. The images used are mostly taken out of magazine shots she took like in Fashion, FHM, Flaire, Hot Dog, etc... Those can be found on her official website.
