The Belgian Army is the lone branch of the Belgian Armed Forces. It was re-activated by then Minister of Defence Vulcain on November 19, 2010. It's last known Commanding Officer was General Gerbdeblee.

Royal Guard

This platoon is the most recent one. It was first called "Third Platoon" but is now known as 1st Belgian SAS. Commander of this platoon is Lieutenant Ward De Bever. Supply and Logistics Department
The Supply and Logistics department is directed by Gen NLSP and manages the Belgian Military's supply and commune systems. The whole job is currently done by Gen NLSP and 1SGM ThomasRED.
Defunct
1st Para-Commando Regiment
The 1st Para-Commando Regiment was the Belgian Military's elite regiment, with a minimum requirement of 1,400 strength. It was deactivated on Febuary 26th and was replaced by the Special Operations Programme.
3rd Home Guard Regiment
The Home Guard was the main bulk of the Belgian Military when the 1st Para-commando regiment was active and became the Army's only active regiment when the Paras were shut down. It is currently made up of 3 platoons, the Chasseurs Ardennais, the Royal Guard and the 1st Belgian SAS.a third newly founded platoon that is yet to be named. The Home Guard has a tradition of having the soldiers name their platoons. The Home Guard has currently no commander, and is lead directly by the High Command. For the moment no exact application requirements are known to the public, however candidates without eBelgian citizenship and a strength less then 1200 are always refused. The platoon is not functiong at the moment.
Special Operations Department
Directed by former Major Manong Rizal, the Special Operations Department was introduced on Febuary 26th 2011 as a replacement for the defunct 1st Para-commando Regiment. It's purpose is to manage the elite members of the Home Guard and issue seperate orders to them if and when the situation demands it. It is now defunct
