Current Positions
Oblige is currently Director of the Official eRepublik Mentorship Program, Commander of the Special Forces, Councilor of We the People, and Congressman from New York.
Politics
Oblige is a member of We the People and has been in Congress seven times, serving as Deputy Speaker of the House twice and Chairman of the Budget Committee once.
In January, in addition to serving for Congress, Oblige was Vice Party President of We the People before becoming Party President after the resignation of John Jay.
In December, Oblige visited Romania for the First Official eRepublik Summit, served in Congress, and was again VPP of WTP.
In November, Oblige was promoted to Director of the Mentorship Program and continued his work in Congress and as Vice Party President of WTP.
In October, Oblige began work with the Mentorship Program and served his first term as Vice Party President of We the People.
In August, Oblige was appointed as Vizier to the State, Deputy Chairman of the National Security Council, and Deputy Secretary of State, and on August 4th was promoted to the rank of Field Marshall as the Commanding Officer of the Special Forces.
In June, Oblige moved from the Federalist Party, where he had been a member for a full year, to the American Military Party, where he was re-elected as Senator from California. He also was reappointed as vCP of eGermany and continued his work with the National Security Council
In May, Oblige was re-elected as Senator from California, was reappointed as vCP of Germany and also resumed his work with the National Security Council.
In April, Oblige was elected to Congress in California, his new seat, for his third term in office and also became Vice Country President under the ilphen administration in Germany.
On December 5th, 2011 Oblige was swept into the Presidency by a landslide 2:1 vote. He was supported by 4 out of 5 of the major parties, had a total of 15 party endorsements, and a list of personal endorsements from Prominent Political, Military, and Media Figures. He served as the 35th President of the United States, holding the record for the most concurrent terms as POTUS (four), in addition to sharing the record for the most number of terms served total (four) with Emerick. He ended his fourth term on April 5th, 2012.
During the November 2011 Administration of GoalieBCSC he continued to serve as the Minister of Foreign Affairs for the fourth consecutive month.
During the October 2011 Administration of Alexander_Auctoritas he stayed on Minister of Foreign Affairs position and also served as Deputy Speaker of the House.
Oblige was briefly the Secretary of Defense during the September 2011 Administration of Alexander_Auctoritas but was then moved to the Minister of Foreign Affairs position.
During the August 2011 Administration of Cerb Oblige was Minister of Foreign Affairs and Deputy Minister of Defense, and also serving his second term as Congressman from the District of Columbia.
During the July 2011 Administration of Blank Keating, Oblige was Deputy Minister of Defense and also served as his first term as Congressman from Illinois.
Military
On Day 1,660 Oblige achieved the military rank of God of War and also received his Top Fighter Medal. He has been awarded 63 Super Soldier medals, 32 "Battle Hero" medals and 5 "Campaign Hero" medals.
Oblige was promoted to Commanding Office of the Special Forces on August 4th, 2012. He has served previously as a Senior Officer with the rank of Lt. Cpl for over six months, prior to which he was the Company Commanding Officer of Alpha Company and the Platoon Commanding Officer of Alpha First Platoon.

In October 2011, after serving three terms as the USA Diplomatic Representative, Oblige became Deputy Secretary General for the TERRA Alliance and quickly was promoted to Secretary General. serving three consecutive terms.
