Bruck University, or Bruck U, of St. Thomas, Ontario, is the single most prestigious center of secular post-secondary learning in North America, attracting many Americans and Europeans alike for its storied history and quality of education, ranking among the top three universities in the New World. It has educated countless thousands of Canadians in politics, diplomacy, and law.

Founded in the days after World War IV to serve as a center of learning in Canada, Bruck University takes its name from one of Canada's most famed generals, and is located near the site of one of the many decisive victories he won for Canada.

History and Student Life

Bruck University was charted into existence by the eCanadian Govenment just after the end World War IV. For the first few hundred days, Bruck College mostly served as the military instructional school and officer cadet training arm of the Canadian Armed Forces, though the school grew in its scope with the addition of the law program, and soon the rest of the programs joined them, with the school being granted it's current coat of arms and the status of a University later. The Plugson School for Creative Writing and Journalism has long sponsored the University's renowned lewd improvisation group, Addy's D'addys, who have performed worldwide, including at the inaugurations for various heads of states. Bruck U is also home to greek life, prominently the Phi Iota Phi fraternity and sorority.

The school's varsity program is amongst one of the largest in the New World, as well. The school's various teams are known as "Bruck's Canucks". The school's battle cry is "Bruck me? Bruck U!".

House System

The school's on-campus student population is divided into five different Houses based on their courses and skills; Sutler House, Plugson House, Jacobi House, Lawrence House, and Bruck House. The student body government organizes intramural sports and leisure activities. Bruck Days are the first week of the year, when no rules of the university apply, meant to increase student discipline and weed out trouble makers to watch for the rest of the year.

Research

Bruck also operates one of the largest historical research programs in the world, categorizing and publishing yearly advancements in historical discoveries. The chair of Bruck's history department, the retired eCanadian Statesman TheSocialistChicken, announced an endeavour to publish a complete history of Canada, from founding to its current state of apocalypse.
