The Swiss Peace Party is one of the largest parties in Switzerland. As the only left-oriented party, the Swiss Peace Party has successfully created a diversification in Swiss politics; and because of the difference in views, this has allowed the party to be able to constantly recruit members, increasing the party's overall importance in the Swiss political landscape.
The party was founded by Monsieur Guillontine on July 30, 2012.

History
The Swiss Peace Party was formed on July 30th, 2012. Monsieur Guillontine is the founding President.
The Swiss Peace Party grew quickly in Swiss terms, mainly due to the fact that the party was something different, with welcoming arms toward the public, encouraging creative ideas rather than bland simple plans. In addition, the Swiss Peace Party brought something new to Swiss politics: a party solely devoted toward peaceful solutions, advocating extreme diplomacy to resolve Switzerland's external and internal conflicts.
