The American Freedom Alliance (AFA) was the largest party in the USA having over 640 members at one point. It operated an IRC channel through Rizon.net at #amfa.

History

The history of the party is quite complicated. It was started under id 3991 and existed from September 2012 until September 2013. In September 2013, the party under that ID change the name, however, almost instantly, AFA was established when Umbrella Research Party was taken-over and renamed to AFA, although it soon after disappeared from the political scene.

The party under id 3991 was later on known as Team America Party and Dio's Children, all of them, small parties counting up to a couple of members and AFA was reborn again as American Freedom Alliance later on, however, due to the big changes in most of the parameters, new article has been created here.

Mission Statement

The AFA aimed to defend the USA and what its members felt was great about the country. Its goals included the relaxation of the USA's stringent immigration policy, the restoration of American economic bonuses, and the removal of the ruling "elites" from power.

Party Leadership

Known leaders of the party were:

American Eagle Division

American Eagle Division was the official militia of the AFA.

Controversy

The AFA claimed that the USA has long been controlled by a cadre of "elites" from the official USA Forums. They propose that the aforementioned hold the majority of leadership roles in the other major parties and undemocratically select the Country President. Notably, the AFA neither supports nor adheres to USA's restrictive immigration policy, which has earned it the ire of the other major parties.

The other major parties deny these allegations. They claim that the AFA is nothing more than a Serbian political takeover group which uses immigrants from hostile nations to swell its ranks. To render the eUSA's citizenship unappealing to potential AFA members, they initially chose to reduce the nation's territorial holdings to its core regions, thus depriving Americans of the complete set of economic bonuses. This controversial move slowed, but failed to reverse or even to entirely halt the AFA's growth. Accepting the fact that no single party would prove capable of preventing the AFA from attaining the Presidency on its own, these former adversaries have banded together behind unity candidates.
