Blue Alliance was formed on March 16, 2010, after the political takeover of Bulgarian Labour Party. The Blue Alliance was a controversial party in the history of Bulgaria due to that move. The party was famous with the partiality of it's members to the Bulgarian Football club "Levski" Sofia.

The party's biggest success was electing 9 members into the 18th Congress of Bulgaria (April - May 2010)[1].

The Blue Legions was the official fighting force of the Blue Alliance.

The unit and the party are not operating since the summer of 2010.
