Fileleu8eri Patriotiki Symaxia (Eng. Liberal Patriotic Alliance, Greek. Φιλελεύθερη Πατριωτική Συμμαχία, abbr. FiPS) was a party in Greece during 2011-2013.
History
FiPS was created by the dissolution of the Democratic Party of Greece (DPG) on June 23, 2011. First President of FiPS was the Liakouris, who was also the last president of the DPG. The reason that led to the dissolution of the DPG and creation of the FiPS, was the great decline that passed at that time in the DPG. The party existed till mid 2013 and managed to rise from initial 61 members up to 166 members[February 2012].
The fall of FiPS started after the party elections of January 2013. When lazarosk became party president, following the immediate resign of the elected president xampos007, many party members started leaving the party thinking that he wouldn't be a good president. After he left the party as well as other core members, FiPS was pretty much dissolved and became inactive. Many of those who left, created the party Dimokratiko Kinima Ellados.
In July 18, 2013, it was decided that FiPS would merge with GIP, due to several similarities. The decision was made at the party's meeting by its attendees, konlavd, giacobs, kalathakis and Tr4nceKostas. A period of one week was given to FiPS members to move to GIP, before the party would ceased to exist independently.
As the last FiPS president, giacobs changed the party's name after the merge to Komma Kliking Ellados. Since then, the party had several name changes every month and dropping in numbers. Some of the known names include: Komma ARist,DHMokr, nik basilopoylos, Sosialdimokratiko Kinima, and then for some longer periods Allagi Poreias, Sons Of Epirus, ANTARTIKO and Creative Commons Zero.
