He was an active member of Irish Social Democrats.
When he had moved to Ireland (Approximately November 15th 2009), Saoirse had held 1 seat in congress (Originally winning three, but 2 members had left). He had quickly proposed a new position in the party, the Congressional Elections Director. That position was passed unanimously and he was appointed with the position. From then until Congress Elections day, he spent much of his time preparing forms and documents and preparing his candidates. He advised them on their manifestos, where to run, how to get their name out and various other things. Election day was a success. Saoirse did not manage to get many votes, but they did manage to get 9 seats in congress, an increase of 300%! He was highly praised for his excellent work, and the fact that he choose to bring others in rather than himself (He had lost his election).
Since then, he has left the Saoirse party after it was put in Biffo300's hands, joining the Irish Social Democrats. Along with him he brought Navy II, Memphis Raines III, and Buddysilver. Since then he has been involved with ISD politics, recruitment, being specifically known for his ISD = EPP Campaign, and was appointed as Co-Director of Recruiting and Head of Recruiting outside of game.
In January 2010 Gleb was elected to his first congress seat in the Northwest Region, finishing third with four votes. Even though Gleb was active in the dail and participated in all of the votes, he was not re-elected in February due to other parties running through the ISD in his region. However, when Gleb was not re-elected he quickly shifted his focus toward the March country president elections. Once the ISD had picked Dubhthaigh as their candidate, Gleb quickly went to work. He had talked about a presidential management cabinet with Dubh and Gleb was picked as the Manager of the Campaign. By selecting the rest of the cabinet and working with others, he had helped to elect Dubh in what was one of the closest races in recent Irish history, just edging out Johnsmith 2k9. Once Dubh was elected he was named the Minister of Defense along with Donovan Thomas. He was also appointed as the sole Chief of Staff. As the term progressed, Donovan Thomas resigned, Gleb was alone, John Jay was appointed, John Jay got fired, Gleb was alone, Donovan Thomas was appointed, Donovan Thomas Resigned, Gleb was alone. Halfway through his term, Johnsmith 2K9 became the new president. Then after a mix-up of orders (Gleb was ordered to remove John Jay of his job as Commanding Officer, and Gleb had talked with 5n4akeyes, the Vice President, and had the orders changed, however JohnSmith 2K9 did not approve of the new orders, and fired both Gleb2006 and John Jay from all of their positions). That happened on the same day as Gleb2006 being elected to a second congress seat, this time in the Northeast, and he finished in second place across all of Ireland in vote total.
On April 6th 2010 he left his job in Dail in Ireland and moved to the United Kingdom.
He did very little in the United Kingdom as he did not find himself with as much opportunity as in Ireland, so he resorted to 2-clicking. At one point he did not log in for a few weeks, but logged in one day to find that Michael Hook had sent him a PM to come back to Ireland. So he came back to the game in early-mid October, coming back to Ireland and trying to pick up where he left off (Helping Ireland, not any drama) in Ireland.
He kept quitting the game and returning over a period of months, finally settling on returning permanently in Early December of 2011. He moved to the Philippines hoping for a fresh start. With his Irish political coming to a conclusion (For Now), he accomplished many great feats including: Making the Saiorse party into one of the top parties in Ireland, 4 Congressional terms, Time as the Minister of Defense and Chief of Staff.
