On April 7, 2009, Navy II used his authority as a member of the USA Army to transfer large sums of cash and gold from American military installations Fort Dover, Fort Immuno, Fort Korbin, and Fort Nave into the corporate accounts of his company, Dakara Holdings. Upon discovery of the unauthorized transfers, Navy II fled to Singapore and admitted guilt upon his arrival.
