Nationalist Party

The Nationalist Party (abbr. NP) was a political party within the United States of America. It was created by three politicians, William Shafer, Nathan Woods, and Kyle321n. During its formation, it was nothing but an unofficial "coalition" of members of four of the top five parties. They all agreed on many things, so decided to start a party of their own. Its original name was RAMROD.
The ideals of the Nationalist Party
The Nationalist Party follows a Pro-War (Pro-Rawr) policy. We accept no zombies or Robots. We seek to abolish zombies and robots from this great nation, as zombies and robots aren't real Americans. The NP is a right-wing party, and believes America is the greatest nation on Earth and will do anything to protect its fellow Americans. The NP believes in a fair-tax system and doesn't favor high taxes for Americans.
In the Beginning
Team Ramrod
The Nationalist Party, or the RAMROD coalition, was once nothing more than a mere thought. It happened on the IRC one day, while William Shafer, Kyle321n, and Nathan Woods were messing around. They decided to form a political coalition of somewhat similar minds, coming from the RfC, LiB, and the America's Advancement Party, respectively. Eventually, the idea came up to actually make the RAMROD coalition come to life. So Will and Nathan gathered enough gold together in Kyle's absence to create a party, Team Ramrod. In a few days, they quickly grew, quickly recruiting the great Cj Will Win who was very pro rawr and anti-zombie, eventually attracting 3 congressmen if you count William Shafer, who never joined the party while in congress, counts. Obviously, they started to attract the attention of others. Will was in a never-ending clash with the USWP. But, although they had gained an enemy, they had easily come over all obstacles in our way, with the help of their active members. They got a rough forum together, to discuss and draft different "manifestos". After much criticism, they had finally completed it, thus beginning the mad dash to what they are today.
The Nationalists are born
"Team Ramrod", although an awesome name, was not going to get them to be taken seriously by a political party. They had to think of another name. None particularly stood out to be amongst the few names they had thought up. But Nationalist seemed it sums it up well, and was the most popular out of any of them. They found a logo that seemed more fitting than Johnny Chimpo, a monkey flipping people off, even though they thought of it as classy. And so the transformation to the Nationalist Party began.
Strong Beginnings
By this time, the Nationalist Party had started passing most of the bigger non-top 5 parties. It was just the Yellow Party, and Democratic Party standing in their way to being the sixth largest. So, after yelling out go recruit many, many times, in the IRC, they had around 5 people recruiting at once. This paid off in a very short time. They leapt over the YP and they were growing fast but it wasn't time to sit around and enjoy their gains. Nathan quickly got to set some goals right before the December 15th Party Presidential election.
- Pass the Democrats before New Year's Day
- This was completed and the NP was extremely happy about this.
- Keep at least, one of our congress members.
- Unfortunately, the Party assumed the Top 5 rule for congress had changed. And although the party's candidates had the support of several newspapers, even from opposing parties, no member showed up on the ballot.
- Set up the next PP to take a place in the top 5 by January 17th
- This goal was set so that the NP can have candidates run for congress in the January 25th Congressional elections.
- Re-vamp the party forums, maybe even get a new one.
- This was done - new forums
The NP falls back; William Shafer's departure to Russia
Things were seemingly great, until of the original leaders, William Shafer, left for Russia in the middle of December '08. Nathan had not seen this coming and honestly forgot Will had mentioned this possibility. With Kyle gone on vacation again, Nathan was little more than helpless at the time. Nathan could just hope that no members followed him and that Kyle would come back soon. After Nathan thought it out, he decided that it was time to look for a competent member to help out, maybe even become Will's replacement. With Will gone, that meant a major change, but a chance to re-think things. Luckily Will was only gone for 2 weeks, and he came back not a moment do soon.

The Nationalist Party Manifesto
Mission Statement
We believe in making the United States the greatest place to live in the world. Providing a strong army, and supporting them. Taking care of the working man, and equal opportunity for all people.
Preamble
The Nationalist Party believes in a government that is transparent. All political dealings will be publicized. If one of our own is wrong, we will point this out. We support the small yet strong and reliable government that is established through branches to deal with pressing issues and in maintaining the United States of America. At the same time, the government should be readily open to participation and communication from the everyday citizen. We believe in active participation at all levels of government. It is the responsibility of congressmen/women and political parties to contribute to and aid the efforts of the Federal government. The ultimate goal of government should be to help the people and ensure their economic success, as well as safety.
Section A: Foreign Policy
Article I: War
The Military of the United States shall be the greatest force in the world. We believe that if you work against the military, you work against America. We fully support all troops in war, unless we feel the war is for a bad cause, such as invading an innocent nation. However, we support the idea of conquering regions of enemy nations if the nation has made actions against the US or her allies.
Article II: Funding
We will always work to fund and supply our troops. We will always work to keep military men and women healthy and outfitted with the very best gear.
Article III: Alliances (MPPs)
We will never support Alliances with enemy countries. We would consider making Alliances with new growing nations for a short period of time to protect them. Any Alliances with ally nations would not be questioned, assuming the ally is a trustworthy one.
Article IV: Independence Wars
If the nation starting the war is a US ally or wants to be, we will unconditionally support them.
Section B: Economic
Article I: Citizens
The Nationalist Party follows a fair-tax system where all citizens pay the same tax rate and all businesses pay the same tax rate. For example, if a citizen makes 5 USD, and an owner makes 100 USD a day, both the citizen would pay a 10% tax ( 0.5 USD), and the company would pay 10% as well ( 10 USD).
Article II: Businesses
We believe the working man and all loyal business owners (big and small) should get occasional tax incentives, such as some extra cash to pay more employees, or extra gold to create another company.
Such as creating a company where once every two months citizens can be given money by a government-based organization, so long as they ask for it, and are under the experience of 2 months.
Article III: Imports
Import taxes will be based on the demand for each product. If there becomes a need for food, for example, imports will be lowered. If there is an overproduction, import taxes will rise to allow our own companies to sell their stock. We do believe, however, that imports are to be used as a last resort. If we cannot produce a resource or enough of a resource, we will consider imports. We will do all we can to encourage the creation of domestic companies and we will encourage our citizens to buy American.
Section C: Social
Article I: Citizens
We believe all US Citizens have the right to own businesses, speak freely, carry and own weapons, and practice a faith of their choosing or even no faith at all. Citizens have the right to hear the full truth, and they have a right to be equal within their government. We believe each citizen should be given an equal opportunity to succeed, and therefore must be offered aid, if they desire, in accessing forums and IRC.
Article II: Politicians
Politicians, we believe, have the obligation to represent the best interests of their country. The people must be represented, but the needs of the country must come before the wants of the people. The first job of all politicians is to work for the safety of the people in America. Politicians, ultimately, are servants to the nation and her security. We believe all politicians should be active on the forums. We also like our politicians to be active on IRC.
Article III: Businesses
Businesses have an obligation to the economy: To hire citizens to work and produce for our economy. However, businesses do have rights. A business may endorse a politician, if they so wish, but any consequences from a political action come at the risk of the business owner. They may NOT force their citizens to vote a certain way. Businesses may run freely and openly so long as they stay within the laws of the United States.
Article IV: Military
Soldiers, Marines, and Guardsmen and women have the same rights as any citizen, though all soldiers must do battle for their nation when requested. All personnel must answer roll-call and deployment orders, or they will face dishonorable discharge. If a military man or woman leaves the country without granted permission from his or her officer, dishonorable discharge will be the punishment.
Definitions
Actions: We consider actions a sort of aggression towards an allied nation. For example: if Indonesia declared war on Argentina, we would support attacking them because they have threatened our allies. A clearer version would be "a clear and present danger" toward any allies or the United States.
