The UKPP was formed in opposition to the prevailing trends within the eUK government of division, elitism and complaceny. It's exsistence has been constantly threatened by the ruling class of the eUK as it attempts to usurp the established order and fight for the equality of all eUKers.

Taxation Policy

1% Income Tax, 99% Import Tax, 10% VAT

Social Programs

The UKPP is a strong supporter of the current state programs for land, town centres and BoE loans.

It would however Scrap the Iron&Oil program and replace it with a Iron&Fruit program.

State Enterprise

The UKPP would like to see the introduction of a 'saltpeter program' where trusted individuals are supplies with GBP to build Saltpeter mines and return the profit to the BoE.

This would not only give us the tools to ontervene with the wage and price levels of the nation should it become necessary to stop slavery and gouging but more importantly it would be a way to break the 'donation proposal' limit and would enable us to reduce VAT in the long-term to 1%.

Alliances

We are a Pro-ONE folk by nature, but being a member of ONE does not work for us in our natural geo-strategic location joining was a poor reaction driven by fear once the current government realised what many of us had told them and they had driven the eUK to the point of facing a wipe!

We would therefore withdraw from official participation and return the eUK back to its previous stance on world affairs where the nation is free to make its friends and choose its own path.

Natural Enemy

The Irish are our natural, natural enemies.

They have the fruit we need, provide the RP element that drives the conflict and we simply (and with an eye to history) cannot engage another nation without them sticking a shiv in our backs at any rate!

WE also recognise that the security of our nation requires a more pro-active approach towards the Canadian nation.

Military and MU's

We strongly believe in and wish to restore the UKAF to its former primary postion within the military life of our nation.

We favour a sub-forum for MU leaders, MoD and the CP. This is to increase communication between the MU's and to hopefully generate some focus and teamwork.

We also feel that the current divisions within the military are unacceptable and propose a similar system that the UKPP and PCP operate in that RMs are free and the troops keep what they produce not use it to subsidise an older player!

History

A Party is Born

Born on the 16th of October 2011 the party was quick to get started by obtaining a long dead party and buying its own MU. Within 2 days the party had obtained enough members and signatures to get a forum group, this allowed the members to chat and help the party grow. Mini Munch the party president for the party made sure that the party had all of the necessary support for its members by creating and maintaining the IRC channel and wiki page. The great response of the community gave the party a good 20 membership surge within a few days, this was a huge confidence boost for Mini Munch and Baroness Margaret Thatcher.

Baby Steps

The parties speedy start dwindled by the start of its second week with the Party President Mini Munch taking a more of a guiding role to steer the party in the right direction. This did not work as well as planned as the Recruitment Manager become too busy to begin recruitment which created a lot more work for Baroness Margaret Thatcher.UKPP missed out on its first congress for October/November as it sat in 6th place 20 members behind the top 4 spot. This would become the first goal of the party, To reach the top 5. This is when the recruitment for UKPP began.

The party started to steam forward at the end of its first term releasing its first Media articles on the 3/11/2011 A Better Way Forward?. Shortly after the UKPP Officials began working to get the party into the top five and build the community that the eUK needed.

2nd Term

The 2nd Term started much like the first with a great motivational force pushing it forward. Baroness Margaret Thatcher was finally at the public head of the party and could begin working his arse off to get the party to the top. It didn't take long for the party to get into the top 5 knocking the UK Democratic Party out.

The party however ran into trouble when the TUP/UKRP mods on the 'national' forum banned BMThatcher prior to the parties first congress elections. The lack of control was evident in the results that sparked alot of hatred by the establishment against UKPP as they were placed fully responsible for the election of 2 questionable members of the community.

UKPP shrugged of their hypocrisy however and kept growing.

The first Xmas

December 2011 was a crucial time for the party as the PP elections came around. Sir Nick (The UKPP's recruiting dynamo) was up against the troll PTOer Bob Boblo. Sir Nick cruised to an easy victory and under his aegis the party expanded rapidly, shooting past PCP without pause and quickly onto the tailend of ESO in third.

Finanical, structural and support systems within the party were established and on his very last day in office - the UKPP edged out ESO to become a top 3 party.

Military Unit

• Commanding Officer: Commander Joe Rooke

The Military Unit was created to give the members of UKPP a platform to follow orders and give them the ability to not only complete two missions but gain daily rewards for fighting in the right area. All of this will benefit the UK as a whole as the members rank up faster and use their damage for important battles. The goal of the UKPP military was simply to allow people to have somewhere to fight and make sure that the damage was directed better.

The Royal Navy is the only party military not under control of the eUK MoD and the only MU to actually cause the enemy any damage - Denying Canada a 20% food bonus.

Constitution

• Reform is the key ideal for the Progression party. Constant evaluation of the UK is needed to identify where there is need for reform.

• Voice is a players biggest weapon and giving everyone a voice is goal we strive for. As long as this party is able to we will listen to the voices and make sure that they are heard.

• Wealth is one way of reaching out to new players, but gifts of food and weapons are better when accompanied by education, entertainment and respect for that player's potential. The party strives to provide all of these things to as many individuals as we can.

• The ultimate goal is to provide a safe and fun environment where players can have fun as well as progress. This can only be achieved through new ideas that are fresh and involve the whole community.
