The Freedom Fighter achievement is given to the citizens who have defeated a certain amount of enemies in a certain amount of victorious resistance wars by fighting for the resistance force. The reward for each medal is 
1000 CC[1] (minus the tax paid to the country).
Requirements
To achieve your medal you have to defeat the opponents while fighting on the side of the Resistance.
The medals are given:
- Fight in 3 successful Resistance Wars and defeat 25 opponents in each (1st medal)
- Fight in 3 successful Resistance Wars and defeat 50 opponents in each (2nd medal)
- Fight in 3 successful Resistance Wars and defeat 75 opponents in each (3rd medal)
- Fight in 4 successful Resistance Wars and defeat 25 opponents in each (4th medal)
- Fight in 4 successful Resistance Wars and defeat 50 opponents in each (5th medal)
- Fight in 4 successful Resistance Wars and defeat 75 opponents in each (6th medal)
- Fight in 5 successful Resistance Wars and defeat 25 opponents in each (7th medal)
................
- Fight in 10 successful Resistance Wars and defeat 25 opponents in each (22nd medal)
- Fight in 10 successful Resistance Wars and defeat 50 opponents in each (23rd medal)
- Fight in 10 successful Resistance Wars and defeat 75 opponents in each (24th medal)
After the 24th medal, the counter is reset and it starts again from the beginning, so the 25th medal will be given to achieve everything as for 1st medal, 26th medal will be given to achieve everything as for the 2nd medal and so on.
Each time you liberate a region after defeating the required number of opponents, you will receive an alert in which is stated how many more regions you need to liberate to earn the medal. You will also receive the alert when you manage to win the medal.

Please note that kills made during guerrilla fights don't count towards Freedom fighter medal progress.
