Sulawesi is a region in Japan and its capital is Palu. Its original owner is Indonesia.
Location
Sulawesi lies in the center of Indonesia, and is therefore a less-strategic region. It does, however, border the Philippines region of Mindanao. Sulawesi is neighbored by the following regions:
Indonesia, Kalimantan
Indonesia, Lesser Sunda Islands
Indonesia, Maluku islands
Philippines, Mindanao
Demographics
As of 10 June 2011 (day 1298), Sulawesi has a population of 431. On March 2008, sandygee, the governor at that time, started a program to increase transmigration from Java to Sulawesi.
