The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) was a political party of South Africa, advocating a constitutional and representative democracy with social freedom, security, solidarity, and equality in all spheres of eRepublik life. The United Democratic Alliance supported a mixed economy with fair trade.
History
UDA was originally started in the summer of 2010, and existed until 29th of December 2010 when it was transformed into Social Democratic Party. On the 14th of February 2011, it was renamed back to UDA.
During its existence, the party gave 1 Country President (Grimstone in October 2010) and was successful in Congress elections on 4 occasions (September 2010, October 2010, February 2011 and March 2011).
The most successful Congress elections for UDA were in September 2010 when the party was the official resistance party of South Africa, winning 35% of the total number of Congress seats[1].
The only known party president was Kyle Frandsen.
