In 2023, the Congressional elections take place on the 25th day of each month and the Congress is inaugurated two days later, on the 27th of each month. Citizens vote for national party lists instead of individual candidates.

Following are the results of the Congress elections in Icon-Malaysia.png Malaysia during 2023. As Malaysia only has two parties in the country, the battle was between them to see which one will won most Congress seats.

In this election there were not enough Congress candidates, therefore some of the seats in Congress remained empty.

March

In March 2023, Malaysia had 2 regions under its control - Sabah and Sarawak. This meant that a maximum of 20 Congress members could be elected to the Congress. Due to the lack of Congress candidates, only 12 Congress members were elected, while 8 seats remained empty.
