Born in the years of the War between Italy and Slovenia, Cavour immediately revealed his libertarian and centrist political view. The war convinced Cavour that true and honest democracy, not military-dominated autocracy, was the only way for a nation to govern itself. In April 2013 he was chosen by millyi, the italian Minister of Foreign Affairs, as the new Ambassador of Italy in Croatia.[2] In addition, during the same period, he was a candidate of the congress in the list of the party "Fratelli d'eItalia".[3] The party received 23,75% of the votes and was the most voted: Cavour became congressman.[4]

Came out from the party, he decided to join the Crescere party, at that time led by Riccardo Quarta. In those days he becomed trainee in the "Foreign Affairs/Defense Section" of the government led by Riccardo Cicca Cornara.[12] Furthermore, he became the Parliamentary Group Leader of his party in Congress.[13] In the same period, the party Crescere joined with IESO and together they created the new "Bastardi Senza Gloria" party which Cavour became automatically a member of.[14]
On May 25th, 2013 he was a candidate of Congress for his party, allied with party Aquila et Gladius; since he wasn't in a top5 party, Aquila et Gladius nominated Cavour as one of the candidates of its own list.[15] The list received 25,89% of the votes and was the most voted: so Cavour was re-elected congressman.[16] Not only, he became the Parliamentary Group Leader of the party to the Congress.[17] His term regularly expired in June 25th.[18]
