Politics
Soon after his birth, ArtemIvanov he joined politics. He began his career at Iron & Wine, but soon noticed that he had a better political connection with the Socialistische Partij van het Volk (later renamed to Libertarian Social Democrats). At first, he was only a Congress member of that party, but soon he was elected Party president. The party grew under his leadership, of course, helped a lot by other 'senior' party members.
ArtemIvanov's first job in the government was as State Secretary of Home Affairs. There he learned the first lessons in governing. After that, he was Minister of Media and Recruiting and later Minister of Home Affairs. When the LSD won the Congress elections he was appointed as formateur for the new government. He served as Prime Minister in three governments.
After some politically inactive months, ArtemIvanov became more active again in politics. Soon after, the largest political parties asked him to run for the office of the Country President. He accepted the nomination, and was elected as President of the United Netherlands.

New Party
After being Party President of the LSD for two months, he came to the conclusion that most party members wanted to see a different course for the party. Subsequently, ArtemIvanov, with the help of some other active politicians, founded a new party: Democratisch Nederland.
