Brussels was an region in the independent eRepublik nation of Belgium until it merged into the United Kingdom during the Belgium-United Kingdom War. As of Day 253, Brussels had 31 citizens. Brussels also had a Q1 hospital. Brussels was the last original Belgian region that was "liberated" in the Brussels Rebellion. The Belgian governement still saw the British as allies and honoured them by not changing the flag directly after the liberation. The Belgians recognise that the British had influenced a lot of the Belgian culture and heritage.

Brussels is one of the two capitals of the United Netherlands.
