On February 17, 2009 in eRepublik Insider it is announced that Bosnia and Herzegovina will be added in March 2009.

And so, on the 11th of March 2009, Bosnia and Herzegovina was added to the New World.

All beginnings are hard

First unofficial President was eronet. He and Friend Freeman created Demokratska Stranka eBiH (abbr. eDS), the party that will become the largest party in the country, numbering around 320 members in January 2010.

One of the things that eronet did during this initial stage of the country's existence was the purchase of Defense system and hospital that were by some considered to be unnecessary and eronet pay 500 GOLD to Croatia for this two buildings. After a lot of articles in the media about why was this done, Croatia returned the money and Q5 hospital in Federation of BiH region.

Besides eDS, there were also a couple of other parties established:

• The Coalition, created by Clayton H. This party was full of foreigners that tried to do a political takeover
• Radnička Partija BiH, created by Jnaas Kivernainen
• Nova Snaga BiH, created by Les Paul and interwal. interwal would be later the presidential candidate in the first presidential elections and become the first official country president.

Croatia was supporting Bosnia in the early steps of being a new country through an operation Guardian Angel to prevent a political takeover.

During interwal's presidency, Azoo Lazzo had an idea to create a Serbian party in Bosnia however that would not come to fruition until 22 July 2009 when Demokratska Stranka Srpske was established^[1].
