The Socialist Bank of England was a small privatised bank endorsed by The Socialist Party, it was run by the Head Propagandist of the Socialist Party, Aslisk.
The bank also had a newspaper article named as the Socialist Bank Report.
History
The bank was founded by Aslisk on the 12th January 2010 but was under speculation for almost a month before creation. Jamie Carter took immediate interest in the bank and donated £30 and 3 GOLD into the company accounts to get the bank started.
Goals and Aims
The banks aims were stated in the first newspaper article, they were:
- To provide the people of the UK with fixed flexible GDP loans
- To provide loans of up to £50 repayable with interest
- To provide specific mortgages of up to £70
- To allow new directors in, small dividend will be given each yearly quarter
- To trade money lest someone may wish to change country
Functions
The banks functioned as a freely run unique and independent bank designed to help UK workers.
A unique Bank
The Socialist Bank had engineered a list of peoples accounts so as to make sure the bank does not over give or over accept money, this averts monetary problems or crashes. It was thought that this was the first bank to do such a thing.
