I posted on the Third Indonesia-Australia War page that it needs to be updated and no one touched it so no, I haven't tracked it. -- Icon-Austria.pngIcon-Germany.png Mikhail Alexander 03:04, 31 May 2011 (PDT)

Can I ask you don't do that again. Yes, I also hate TemujinBC's guts but it doesn't make it right to edit his wiki page. Please keep insults to yourself. -- Icon-Germany.png Mikhail Alexander 00:03, 3 June 2011 (PDT)

Hello back

I dont know if this is the right way to do it but I'll just try. Thanks for welcoming to the Wiki. I already created my citizen page and hop i did at leans an okay job on that. Moldova

I moved Moldova (Romania) back to Moldova in order to my region owner script work. It would require a lot of tweaking to get it working with both Moldova (used by regionlink template) and Moldova (Romania) (used by Region, Regions, Neighbors template). Moldova disambiguation was moved to Moldova (disambiguation) (like alliance disambig). It's just easier this way... --Icon-Finland.png sampo555 | Talk 04:13, 13 June 2011 (PDT)

Cheers, I just wanted it to look good but the disambiguation will be fine where you've put it. Again, thanks :) -- Icon-Germany.png Mikhail Alexander 05:21, 13 June 2011 (PDT)

Requesting file-type policy on region maps

I also added a map column to the RegionsTable template I just made. The problem is that while all the region maps have a uniform name, they're either .jpg or .png. The only way to get around this is to use a #ifexists function, which MediaWiki only allows you to use a limited amount of. There's no point in having uniform region map names if they're still going to be of a different file type. I think it's best we adopt a policy on what file format region maps should be in. I prefer .png since its a higher quality format.--vSkyzv Icon-USA.png Talk - Contribs 06:09, 9 July 2011 (PDT)

I agree with having maps as .png. All the maps I've been making have been .png so it may take time to redo every map but eventually they will all be .png maps. -- Icon-Germany.pngIcon-Aland.png Mikhail Alexander 17:14, 9 July 2011 (PDT)

Should every page has one English version?

Hi Mikhail, I just wrote one tutorial only for Chinese player. But after a while it was moved to my Sandbox by you. You said it is not fit for the language protocol. So should I create a English tutorial first or just add one {{LangMenu}} at my Chinese tutorial? --07:31, 9 September 2011 (PDT)Robert Tornado

Yep, thats exactly what you do :) Sorry if I was a little harsh, we just get people who don't care but you seem too, you will go far. -- Icon-Belgium.png Mikhail Alexander 20:06, 9 September 2011 (PDT)
Hi Mikhail, sorry I still do not get what should I do even after your comments. The tutorial's material is from our Chinese eRepublik community, so I can finish the Chinese version quickly. This means that I can only add the LangMenu at the top of the page, leave the English page blank for a long time, and finish the Chinese page. (Like what I did in my Sandbox. ) This is my plan now. Does it make sense? --20:22, 9 September 2011 (PDT)Robert Tornado
You need to make the page with the English title, make the {{LangMenu}} on the English page and move the Chinese one to the appropriate one. Once the Chinese one is finished, you'll be required to make an English version of the same page. Hope this clears anything up. -- Icon-Belgium.png Mikhail Alexander 20:32, 9 September 2011 (PDT)
Thank you Mikhail. Your answer is really clear. And I have another questions: Is the requirement to make an English page urgent? I may leave the English page blank for a long time. And how do you Uber Editor or Admin know that I have finished the corresponding English page? --20:41, 9 September 2011 (PDT)Robert Tornado

A partisan admin

Using his admin powers, Mikhail overwrites Sampo555's lock on Monsieur Guillontine's page without awaiting the outcome of moderation. For the record, Mikhail Alexander is a government and party member of Belgian CP Monsieur Guillontine. I think he should not impose his views (posting irc logs as reference, a land page that would be relevant to an election process), and certainly not in a case where he is a party. - Ward De Bever 14:10, 14 September 2011 (PDT)

Another case of admin bias: http://wiki.erepublik.com/index.php/User_talk:Mikhail_Alexander/Projects/Belgian_Civil_War#Strongly_object —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ward De Bever (talkcontribs)
Its sad that you have to swoop down to an all time low to try and get my admin powers revoked. It won't happen any time soon. Or at least when your alive. -- Icon-Belgium.png Mikhail Alexander 06:18, 26 September 2011 (PDT)
Why then was the Civil War article suddenly deleted instead of allowing contributors to make it right? Because you only want your own views? - Ward De Bever 08:00, 26 September 2011 (PDT)
Ward, It was on his own projects page. you should not start editing etc on peoples personal projects pages. People have projects and sandboxes for a reason they can do as they please with them including delete them. --Fhaemita Malodorous 08:30, 26 September 2011 (PDT)
I must agree with FM here. Project pages are for the users themselves, unless they invite help in :) Icon-Australia.png Timeoin|Say G'Day 08:35, 26 September 2011 (PDT)
From http://wiki.erepublik.com/index.php/eRepublik:Wiki_Page_Policies#User_Pages - "The user namespace can and should be used for the development of articles or templates." - nothing says it's for private projects only. Nobody owns pages here: it's about the collaborative effort. Why start such a project on a publicly accessible page and then delete it when a collaborator shows up? I think it's just a waste of time and energy. If he didn't want to collaborate on it, he should not have made it a project. Propaganda is for in-game. In the wiki, bias (personal/political interpretations and opinions) should be clearly labeled as such. I gladly collaborate with help towards better articles. The only edit I did on the now deleted article was removing the 'courtesy protect' template which was there for ten days already... - Ward De Bever 08:42, 26 September 2011 (PDT)

Palestine

(Palestine isn't a country, Israel is, if you don't like that, it isn't my problem. If this continues in future, you may have a ban.)

Over 100 countries recognize Palestine as a country so I'm pretty sure it is! lol. But whatever I guess. A simple "that's not allowed" or "please don't do that" would've probably been sufficient enough. But threatening to ban me for something as simple as that seems a bit much don't you think?

If I were to change it back and add a fictional content template to the section would that be satisfactory? - Icon-Canada.pngSebastian Somar 10:41, 13 October 2011 (PDT)

Sadly not, since Palestine isn't a eRepublik country nor a real country (according to the United Nations), it can't be added under any terms and putting Israel as the redirect is highly offensive to other Israelis. Please keep it as Israel and you're unable to actually move to the country in the game so you can't really add it can you? -.- -- Icon-Australia.png Mikhail Alexander | Talk 23:23, 13 October 2011 (PDT)
Kosovo is not recognised by the UN either (blocked by Russia)... only by 86 member countries; whereas Palestine (blocked by US) is recognised by 127 member countries. I don't see why Kosovo is considered as an eRep nation and Palestine not. A "fictional template" would not hurt in my opinion. - Ward De Bever 04:46, 14 October 2011 (PDT)
Palestine is a terrorist net aimed to destroy any evidance of Jews and Judaism. From their action titles "Massacres" we can see that they only seek death and destruction. Palestine is not a real country, it will never be one, unless they stop to kill babies. Truth out. --Icon-USA.png SocialPariah/Talk 05:38, 14 October 2011 (PDT)
Now that I think of it a fictional template would be highly offensive to Palestinians so I won't be doing that. I saw a template yesterday that I think would be much more appropriate but can't seem to find it again today. Putting "Israel" as the redirect is offensive? What else would I redirect to? China? Normally I wouldn't care about offending Zionists, but I'm not here to make enemies. I'll have to find something else to redirect to then cause that ugly red link ruins the whole page. Talk about offensive. Palestinians only want to destroy Jews and Judaism? That's funny seeing as there are not only Palestinian Muslims, but Palestinian Christians, and even Palestinian Jews!!! Before Zionism took hold of Palestine, Jews and Muslims and others lived side by side with little conflict. Babysat each others children even! This conflict has nothing to do with Muslims vs. Jews and everything to do with Zionism and land grabbing. Thank you Ward for that bit of info. I didn't know that about Kosovo. ----Icon-Palestine.pngSebastian Somar 08:58, 14 October 2011 (PDT)
Right... Live together side by side... Let me tell you that: You know what was the rule for Jews in Arab countries? That the Jews must not have a house higher then their Arab neighbor. And, there are not Palestinian Jews, please stop your ignorance. Well, Zionism (Zionism - The Jewish national liberation movement which proclaims that the Jewish people constitute a nation and are entitled their national homeland. ) is the based on a Jewish commandment of taking back Jewish land and returning to the promised land. Also, for Palestine to be occupied, a country by the name of Palestine must exist first, and there is not even once an entity by the name of "Palestine" or "Filastin" anywhere, unlike Israel, who has historical evidance of Jewish population of that land, the Hebrew language and the name of Israel from historical and biblical evidance. I know this confilct has nothing to do with Muslim vs. Jews, it has to do with Palestinian murderers and Israeli babies, that want to kill them, only because the yare Jews. And, FYI, the term "Palestinian" was only invented in 1959, and the "Occupation" only started in 1967, so, how could Israel be the problem, whn it didn't held the "occupied territories" until 1969? Think about it. --Icon-Albania.png Icon-Israel.png SocialPariah/Talk 03:07, 15 October 2011 (PDT)
I don't know if this is the place for propaganda... - Ward De Bever 11:10, 15 October 2011 (PDT)
Agreed Ward... My only concern on this talk page is finding a way for my page to be acceptable to both me and the admins. Social if you wish to continue this conversation you are welcome to pm me in game and I will send you my email or my Facebook where we can finish this conversation. Cluttering Mikhail's talk page with this is neither needed nor appropriate. Also, as I understand it, Sandboxes are meant for the users only to experiment. If I'm right then please refrain from further editing of my experimenting. If I'm wrong, and only if I'm wrong, then you are welcome to COLLABORATE with me on it, but please refrain from inserting further insults onto my pages. Mikhail and Ward if you wish you are invited to help regardless. I'd like to find a solution to this that is acceptable to both me and the admins. Thank you. -- Icon-Palestine.png Sebastian Somar 12:35, 15 October 2011 (PDT)
This is almost as stupid as Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) vs Greece. This is an eRepublik Wiki, so Israel gets a page, but Palestine doesn't. Personally, Palestinians do deserve to be recognized, but this isn't Wikipedia. P.S. I'm not going to take sides in this debate, but saying Palestine was a terrorist network created in 1959 is pretty ignorant.--vSkyzv Icon-USA.png Talk - Contribs 14:15, 15 October 2011 (PDT)
Better yet, create an Arabia page, just like there is a Balkans page, and have Palestine redirect there.--vSkyzv Icon-USA.png Talk - Contribs 14:21, 15 October 2011 (PDT)
I'm going to say that Palestine isn't a country in eRepublik and therefore has no reason to be on this wiki. If it is to be added, thats fine but that is something I doubt seeing any time soon. Please just leave it as Israel and the situation is resolved so I don't have to keep reading this crap. -- Icon-Australia.png Mikhail Alexander | Talk 16:59, 15 October 2011 (PDT)
Wouldn't VSkyzv's suggestion be good? I could easily do that and would be sufficiently satisfied with that solution. -- Icon-Palestine.png Sebastian Somar 17:20, 15 October 2011 (PDT)
I don't see the point in making an Arabia page just for one person to marvel over. Palestine doesn't exist and therefore has no need to be on your page, my decision is that you have it Israel and leave it be or I'll temp ban you in future. Its my decision and this is it. If you don't like it, you can go elsewhere but at the moment, I couldn't give a shit what you want but whats right and whats fair which is a neutral answer to the question. Palestine isn't a country as my own RL country said no to the vote and I agree, don't go all UN or Kosovo on me. I don't care and this is the most neutral answer, leave it Israel until such time Palestine is added in the future. Also this conversation is between the persons page and myself, no conflict from others is needed. -- Icon-Australia.png Mikhail Alexander | Talk 00:13, 16 October 2011 (PDT)
THE VERDICT IS KEEPING ALL PALESTINE REFERENCES OUT AND KEEPING ISRAEL AS WHAT I SUGGESTED IN THE FIRST PLACE. DISCUSSION CLOSED. -- Icon-Australia.png Mikhail Alexander | Talk 01:26, 16 October 2011 (PDT)
Why can't I have a wiki page for my in-game company called Palestine? Why does Mikhail want to close this discussion, because his RL country doesn't recognise my company? Where is the appropriate place to discuss this? - Ward De Bever 01:34, 16 October 2011 (PDT)
While I don't agree and don't respect the way you went about it I will respect your decision and erase the entire section. However in the future I would appreciate if you have a problem with something on my page instead of being rude and automatically threatening me with a ban, discuss it with me first! I'm a reasonable person and it was not the fact you changed my page that pissed me off but the fact that you threatened to ban me with no discussion prior. There was no need to threaten banning, and there is no need for you to continue the threat. If you had simply explained why you had changed the page and not gotten power hungry with the ban threats I would have still gotten offended but not nearly as bad as I am now and this discussion probably would've ended a day or two ago with the same outcome and a lot less clutter on your talk page. Your comment that you don't give a shit just goes to prove my point that you are rude and offensive. There was no calling for that either. I do however apologize (to you, not Social) for my part in the escalation of the argument after Social's post. -- Icon-Canada.png Sebastian Somar 01:44, 16 October 2011 (PDT)
Come on now Mikhail, don't be petty. Ward's company "Palestine" exists in game and therefore should be allowed to have a wiki page. Your instructions were that the country Palestine doesn't exist in game and therefor couldn't be referenced in the wiki, but his company does exist and therefore does not warrant a deletion. -- Icon-Palestine.png Sebastian Somar 02:35, 16 October 2011 (PDT)
Also, while I may be biased on this subject, I'm not an admin. You are. An admin should remain neutral and deciding the matter even in part on the fact that you and your country don't recognize Palestine is not neutral. I can understand and respect the argument that it's not an in game country, but bringing in personal opinions as an admin isn't neutral nor is it befitting what an admin should be. -- Icon-Palestine.png Sebastian Somar 02:44, 16 October 2011 (PDT)

Look, its staying as Israel, thats that. Also Ward only did this to get up my nose. Ward, you need to understand the Behaviour Policy, which you should read sometime. You also need to learn the difference between templates. Which at a man of 37, I'm sure you can figure out. -- Icon-Australia.png Mikhail Alexander | Talk 06:24, 16 October 2011 (PDT)

Actually it's not going to stay "Israel" because I already erased the entire section from my page, and that's that! It will either say Palestine or nothing at all. I was kind enough to redirect to the "Israel" page, but I will not have that name on my page in reference to the modern Zionist State. And regardless of why Ward did it, if it exists in game it deserves a wiki if he so chooses to create one for it. My weapon's factory is named Palestinian Guns. If I decide to create a wiki for it then I have every right to create a wiki page for it as well. Your argument - or at least your only valid argument - against referencing Palestine in the wiki was that it wasn't in the game. Well Ward's company exists in game so you are going against your own logic and only acting on personal bias and pettiness by deleting his company's wiki. Which only goes to prove you are unfit to serve as an admin if you can't do so logically and objectively. How you ever came to be in a position of power is beyond me. -- Icon-Palestine.png Sebastian Somar 07:27, 16 October 2011 (PDT)
Nothing at all. And, Israel is not a Zionist state, it's a JEWISH STATE, the only one in the world. Which brings me to the point that Zionism - IS JUDAISM! The greatest commandement in Judaism is to return to Zion (land of Israel), what you in your ignorancy call "Palestine". While there are over 20 Arab countries, while there is only one JEWISH STATE. And if you want to give the Palestinians a state, well, they already have one: JORDAN! 2/3 of Jordan's population are Palestinians, and the other Beddouines. Mikhails agrument of not referring to Palestine, is valid for not referring to South Ossetia, Transnistria (while it is a region of Romania) and Palestine. Because that can cause conflicts in-game, and that's what eRepublik, and the wiki doesn't want. So again, after 5 times - Stop your ignorance. Thank you, stop supporting Palestine. ---Icon-Albania.png Icon-Israel.png SocialPariah/Talk 05:34, 28 October 2011 (PDT)
Social as I said before if you want to continue this discussion you are welcome to message me in game or on fb. This is not the place to do so. And I will NEVER stop supporting Icon-Palestine.pngPALESTINEIcon-Palestine.png -- Icon-Indiana.jpg Sebastian Somar 21:07, 2 November 2011 (PDT)
Look, even though I don't say that Palestine exists. It's now a member of the United Nations but still the country isn't part of this game and therefore can't be added to your page. This has just gone stupid. Please leave it as Palestine until such time it's added to the game. If it is and you visit it, it will be completely fine and I then have no new issues to discuss. -- Icon-Australia.png Mikhail Alexander | Talk 14:16, 3 November 2011 (PDT)
First, "Palestine" is not a member of the United Nations, it's only a member of UNESCO. That's first. Second, I do not blame either of you for supporting death, I just think it's stupid. Thank you. --Icon-Albania.png Icon-Israel.png SocialPariah/Talk 05:55, 4 November 2011 (PDT)

A small change to Template:LangMenu

Just requesting a small change to Template:LangMenu

User:VSkyzv/Template:LangMenu

In the new version under my userspace, I removed some old coding that newer browsers don't need anymore (-moz-border-radius and such is unnecessary as newer Firefox versions recognize border-radius) and fixed the ugly white space between borders that you see in the current template: Template:LangMenu

I pretty much kept everything else the same so it's safe to copy and paste the code from User:VSkyzv/Template:LangMenu to Template:LangMenu. I just need you to do the edits since I don't have admin powers.

(If you're wondering why the version in my userspace doesn't have all the flags, that's because I didn't copy the subpages over.)--vSkyzv Icon-USA.png Talk - Contribs 15:00, 15 October 2011 (PDT)

A few useful ideas - EREP:BE - Mikhail, I will appreciate if you read it again.
One important thought - EREP:BE#Civility - Mikhail, a very difficult endeavor is not to insult other people; it is even harder not to upset them. I have full confidence in your maturity and equilibrium that you'll find the inner resources to uphold the friendly environment of this Wiki.
In case of disagreements - EREP:BE#Complaints - Mikhail, I respect Ward De Bever for respecting the Wiki policy and upholding the "Complaints" guidelines of that policy. I respect even more your respect for my respect for Ward's respect of the policy... :D Feelings are important - how are you feeling? What is wrong? What happened? Can I help you with anything?
With friendship, --Belea2008 02:27, 17 October 2011 (PDT)
