What are ranks in eRepublik?
In national organized militaries, such as the British Army or the United States Armed Forces, citizens who are members are given a rank, which displays their level of importance, responsibility and skill in the national military. This rank is not related to the damage ranks that every citizen in eRepublik has.
For more information on the ingame eRepublik damage ranks, see here.
Useage in Organized Militaries
Lieutenant Colonel is an officer rank, who holds a number of positions in organized militaries. Generally, he is the commander of a military unit. Hence, he has the ability to adjust the Recruit's orders (in order to establish the threshold for entry into the MU); determine the Battle priorities (to make sure the game sets prioritized battles as DO when a previous battle finishes); set the Daily Order for the entire MU; and remove members from the MU or transfer them for another regiment, as long as they've been in the MU for longer than 2 days.
