Special event map - as used for 1st and 2nd edition of An Amazing Journey

As part of celebrating the eRepublik anniversary (21 November 2007 / the first day of the New World), in 2019 it was decided to reward citizens by spreading gifts on the map of the New World[1] - that is how An Amazing Journey event was started. An amazing journey will become the anniversary event from 2019 onwards.

Claiming the gifts

To claim the gifts, citizen needs to unlock the location that holds them on the special event map. Depending on the location, citizens must wait between 1 to 12 hours to complete the unlock. During the event, distance traveled will be logged and citizens will be collecting Amazing coins, and a bit of each will be deducted when claiming an unlocked gift. Currency can be used to speed up gift unlocks or recover some lost time.

Up to 3 locations can be added to the unlock queue. At the beginning of the event, citizens can pick to unlock any location as their starting point. Once the first location is unlocked, citizens will only be able to choose from the locations which are directly linked to it. Changes

  • From the 2nd edition, the second track was introduced; however Amazing journey pack has to be bought to unlock it.

  • From the 3rd edition, instead of spending energy to unlock locations, Amazing coins have been implemented
