The Canary Islands (Islas Canarias) is an island region of the United States of America. Las Palmas de Gran Canaria is the capital of the region.

History
The region is originally from Spain and has been conquered conquered by many countries, such as Brazil, Poland and, currently, the USA due to swaps or real wars.

During the big war confronting Spain vs. the USA, the Canary Islands were occupied by Brazil and are currently occupied by the USA as many other regions of Spain.
