Democratisch Nederland (Democratic Netherlands) is a political party in the Icon-Netherlands.png Netherlands. Founded on November 17, 2010, it has consistently been one of the largest and most influential parties of the country. It describes itself as a party of 'democracy, freedom, transparency and responsibility, where everyone is important and nothing is taboo.'

History

Founding

Democratisch Nederland was originally founded in the Netherlands on Day 1,092 of the New World. The following citizens were involved in the party's original founding:

Most of the founders came from the Libertarian Social Democrats, whereas Dennis Baks was a former member of Iron & Wine. The party ceased to exist after a succesful PTO in December 2010, followed shortly after by the conquest of the Netherlands by Poland.

Re-establishment

Because of various successful PTO's carried out by a Croatian feminist group, all Dutch parties united in the Verenigd Nederland political party in December 2011. This one party system eventually came to an end due to disagreements over the April 2011 Presidential elections. Verenigd Nederland was subsequently sold by public auction. Party Program

The Party Program written for the elections of the 36th Congress of the Netherlands.

General

Democratisch Nederland wants to be a party for all citizens in eNetherlands. Our focus is in freedom, transparency, responsibility and respect. Democratisch Nederland thinks it's important to work together, with members with different expirience levels. We can all learn from eachother. Every opinion will be heard. Democratisch Nederland will fight for a strong economy and stable policy, to ensure the citizens of eNetherlands to live and work optimally.

Netherlands Complete Again?

As everyone can see, we have our rightful regions back! But for how long? It's only a matter of time, until Poland will attack us to occupy our country again. With luck, we get the two regions back. Both Foreign Affairs (in diplomacy) as Defense should focus on to hold a better position after the battles than before.

Home Afairs

Democratisch Nederland wants to invest more in the work of Home Affairs. Focus needs to be on training and guiding young citiziens. Home Affairs is allready working multiple terms on tutorials. More manpower needs to be found, to finish the tutorials and release them to our citizens. Democratisch Nederland wants the government to have active contact with our young citizens (level 20), to help them grow up in our country. The coaching team works on request now. They should be more proactive. This team should have some budget, to send out small portions of supplies to young citizens, to help them with their work. Focus should be on making their own business and self provisioning. Democratisch Nederland wants to release articles, on regular base, to inform the citizens of eNetherlands of the work the government has done.

Foreign Affairs

We need to invest in our relations with our allies nearby. With focus on Germany, France and USA. Focus on Foreign Affairs should be on strengthen our position in Western Europe and to hold our current regions. We should use diplomacy actively to reach this goal.

Defense

General goal needs to be, to free our lands, currently in control of Poland. As noted in the Foreign Affairs section, we need to invest in our relations with our allies nearby. We need to help Germany and France to get their lands back. This next to the current policy to have MPP with two bigger countries. Democratisch Nederland thinks that USA should be one of these countries. We need to invest in our Military Units, to get more soldiers. We need to develop a rewardsystem for this. Besides handing out more supplies, soldiers should earn extras when they do good work for our country. Democratisch Nederland wants a system, where the soldier gets more supplies weekly. How much depends how much the soldier has fought for his direct orders. The soldier gets a normal amount of supplies, when he has fought 5 times the week for his direct orders. He gets extra supplies when he has fought more than 10 times the week. The soldier has to prove it, to one of his superiors.

Finance

Democratisch Nederland is proponent of the current financial policy, but wants to see the government investigate their budget as a lot of income is not used at the moment. Democratisch Nederland want to invest NLG over 2 months in army companies to make the army more powerfull and more selfsufficient.
