Ionwind is a citizen of Finland. He was born on day 739.

Thanks to the detailed and helpful guides that the Finnish player community had made, he soon got the grasp on how to survive each day in the New World.

The most notable achievements for him are having served in some commanding posts in the Finnish military and luring Th1ngy and Stormis to the eWorld.

Pre-Rising

After some weeks of playing Ionwind joined the Finnish military in Hätäisen Toiminnan Joukot in order to strive for the higher ranks and more influence within the community. Ionwind was first assigned to the Mortar unit (KRHK) of HTJ where he served actively. Later he first got the position as the group leader of the KRHK unit and confusingly enough, he was the MoD Assistant Secretary of State at the same time with Stormis during May 2010.

Ionwind then took the commander position of HTJ in June 2010. He didn't took any commanding post after that since the eRepublik Rising was getting nearer and the new battle system seemed too time-consuming. Due to the V2 Ionwind went to complete hibernation.

Post-Rising

Ionwind returned when the battle system was changed back to wall-based battle. Then he joined the ranks of Northern Guerilla Division.

In January 2011 the Finnish President avec re-established the old HTJ/NTJ/PPr -based military organization. Ionwind was then moved to NTJ where he again served actively. During this time he also got his first battle hero trophy on eDay 1188 (Feb 20th 2011). During the NTJ service he also designed the new avatars for the Finnish army groups, as seen in below:

Thanks to his active service he was then chosen for the ranks of PPr in February 2011 and soon after that he got the possibility to serve as the MoD Operative Commander during March 2011. He was chosen to be the MoD Supreme Commander for April 2011. His office started with the training war that had escalated to an actual war between Estonia and Finland.

After one term as MoD Supreme Commander he continued as a regular soldier in PPr while he also served as a manager in the Finnish army food raw supply companies. Due to relatively low strength he was sent back to NTJ where he stayed for a couple of days until he joined the HTJ. Around the time when the work skill was removed, Finnish army reorganised its food supply management and Ionwind was relieved of his manager duty on Day 1299.

Time for business

Following the reorganisation in the Finnish army, Ionwind's interest in organised battle decreased. He continues to serve in the ranks of HTJ rather inactively. The changes in business module however piqued his interest and he set up some factories and raw material sites. At the beginning he employed two workers, gathering more capital and trying to achieve full self-sufficiency in the areas of food supplies and weapons. Due to the changes in economy module and the introducing of Q6 weapons and the following market crash(es) and still high wages in US, being an employer became impossible. Currently he runs his land on his own, producing Q2 food and Q1 and Q3 weapons using only own raw materials.

USAF, UM and further military activity

On October 22nd 2011 Ionwind joined the United States Armed Forces Boot Camp. Due to relatively high military skills he advanced through the Boot Camp quickly and he was transferred to the 3rd regiment of Delta Force.

Danish Midtjylland region was liberated from German occupation on February 7th 2012 (1540). Ionwind took part of the operation and in the process he gained the first Resistance Hero medal (with total campaign damage of 3 001 556) and two battle hero medals.

In the beginning of April 2012 Ionwind resigned from the Delta Force and joined the Ultramarines. Not being interested in following orders and filing reports, he joined later on to a small Hammer of Thor military unit which allowed total freedom. During Hammer of Thor time he mostly worked towards Mercenary gold.

Ionwind resigned from Hammer of Thor on February 2nd 2013 to join recently established Mossad.
