Joshua Steel was a politician from Sacramento California, who later moved to Australia.

Early years and the run for Mayor

Joshua Steel was born in August 2008 in Sacramento, California.

The young man soon became known for his ambition and took it upon himself to make a splash in local politics. After joining the New Day Co-Op political party, Steel kicked off his campaign for Mayor of Sacramento in August of 2008. On election day, August 20th, Steel lost to the incumbent Ikenstein.

Post Election Activities

After his loss in the August 2008 local election, Joshua Steel went in a brief period of seclusion. He spent this time founding Steel industries, the parent company of the Steel Gift Company. In late September of that year, Joshua Steel sold off his corporate assets in order to refocus on his political career in Sacramento.

The Local Election of September

During the local elections of September 2008, Joshua Steel chose to endorse Jefferson Steelflex rather than run again. Steel campaigned heavily for Steelflex and advised the candidate during what was a tight race. Jefferson Steelflex won to become the new mayor of Sacramento. It was also around this time that Joshua Steel joined eRepublikans for Change.

State Politician

On September 20th, 2008 Joshua Steel was appointed California State Lottery Commissioner by Mayor Jefferson Steelflex.

On October 2nd, 2008 Joshua Steel was also appointed Florida State Lottery Commissioner by Mayor Leo Ruby.

Death and Return

Joshua Steel was thought dead in April 2009. However, he returned to California in July 2011 where he founded Steel Corp, a multipurpose manufacturer of military technology and agriculture.

Steel soon moved to Australia, where he relocated his company and in July 2011 received Australian citizenship. That same month, he made an unsuccessful run for president of the Australian Republican Party.

In August 2011 Steel was elected to the Australian Senate under the banner of The KnightHawks Military Council.
