Belgium's Coat of Arms

Belgium was established as a Constitutional monarchy in June 0f 2011, although the Belgian Monarch is head of state he or she holds no political power and the position is only symbolic and ceremonial. On On June 2, 2011 a discussion was started on eBelgium forum was started by NLSP and after a 24 hour discussion and a 24 hour vote the Belgium Monarchy was established and Mittekemuis was named Queen of eBelgium and her e-husband Pieter557 was named Prince consort.[1]. This Monarch was not long lasting as as less than a month later, on August 2, 2011 after Mittekemuis and Pieter557 had left for eUK she was disposed as monarch of eBelgium[2]. Although Mittekemuis was deposed as monarch the monarchy was never officially abolished.

On January 1, 2014 the question was brought up on the eBelgium forum if eBelgium had a king which it had not. This started the idea to restart the Monarchy in eBelgium again. The Valeyard wrote up a new Monarchy Act which was accepted by congress[3]. A few days later a discussion was started on who should be the new king and almost unamimous Critically was chosen as the new King of eBelgium and accepted by congress[4]

Mittekemuis was named Queen of eBelgium on July 4, 2011 by a congress majority[5] and shortly thereafter announced the royals and other nobles of eBelgium in an article[6]

The Monarchy was reestablished in January 2014 and Critically was chosen by the eBelgian community as King and confirmed by congress[7]
