Personal Information
Like many real-life South Africans, mulderpf was born Brazilian in the game after joining in Gauteng. With some help early on from the very controversial Ajay Bruno, he moved to the Free State and has been residing in eSouth Africa ever since.
Political Involvement
Although he maintains that he never really wanted to get involved in politics, he got involved very early on.
African National Alliance
Since he wasn't aware of the political situation in the country, he was persuaded by Ajay Bruno to join the ANA. In the few days that followed, there was a fierce battle for the Party Presidency between Stormclouds and Ajay Bruno. Following the alleged election fraud of Ajay Bruno, mulderpf helped Stormclouds get the TANA (True African National Alliance) started. (The TANA was shortly renamed to the Pro South Africa Party and later renamed to the Suid-Afrikaanse Legioen).
South African Gold Party
Shortly after the creation of the Pro South Africa Party, Stormclouds requested that his account be deleted and mulderpf saw no future in a small party full of controversy. He decided to join the South African Gold Party and after long deliberation, also ran for congress in the Eastern Cape that same month. He acquired his seat with 6 votes (he was the candidate with the most votes in the Eastern Cape).
During this time, he was very active within the party trying to further the economic goals of the party. With the party president elections of December 2009 coming closer, mulderpf started feeling more and more like that there was a policy mismatch between himself and the ideology of the party. Although his intentions were to wait until after the congress elections, he moved to the Independent Alternative shortly before the party president elections.
Independent Alternative
Following his move to the Independent Alternative, mulderpf ran for congress twice more, once in KwaZulu-Natal during the December 2009 elections (which was returned by Brazil a couple of hours before the election) and then in Limpopo during the January 2010 elections.
He considers himself a very active member within the Independent Alternative and when asked if he'll ever consider running for party presidency, he simply responded with "not now".
Elections
mulderpf was elected to congress in the following elections:
Month | Party | Region | Votes |
---|---|---|---|
November 2009 | South African Gold Party | Eastern Cape, South Africa | 6 |
December 2009 | Independent Alternative | KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa | 3 |
January 2010 | Independent Alternative | Limpopo, South Africa | 9 |
February 2010 | Independent Alternative | Limpopo, South Africa | 10 |
March 2010 | Independent Alternative | Northern Cape, South Africa | 20 |
Organisations
mulderpf considers himself as very lucky in the way that he got started in business. Within hours of joining the game, he was sent large sums of money (gold and several different currencies) by a citizen called Tchelos simply with a message saying "Pay it forward" (he says at the time he didn't really know much and if the same had to happen today, he would be very worried!). At the time he wasn't too sure what do with all the cash and after getting some advice, he had Mulder Enterprises set up for him (at the time he didn't have enough experience to start an organisation).
From the start, he remembered those words, "Pay it forward". He has subsequently set up various other organisations and companies with the main aim of spreading the wealth he obtained in a sustainable way. Most of the original cash has now been invested into various companies and schemes.
He owns several companies, run from the organization Mulder Enterprises.
Future
At the time of writing, mulderpf was a congressman for Limpopo, Master of Funds in eSouth Africa's Department of FUN!, CEO of 4 active companies, Speaker of Congress, Ambassador to Belgium and Czech Republic and an investment manager at a large investment firm. Although he wants to remain in politics, he wants to spend more energy on his personal ventures.
