One day in real life is considered one day in the New World. eRepublik time is GMT -8 or "Pacific Time.[1]" The servers were set to this time on 13 February 2008.
Automatic Events
There are several automatic processes that are played daily and monthly in eRepublik at the exact eRepublik time:
Daily
- 23:30 - Formulas page is automatically recalculated
- 23:45 - Rankings page is automatically recalculated
Monthly
- 2nd of the month at 23:59
- Freeze Edit Goals for President candidates
- Set final candidates list for presidency
- Publish Goals on candidates list and party page
- Publish Latest Event about Campaign Goals being final
- 4th of the month at 00:01
- if fulfilled, assign award monument
- if fulfilled, publish latest event according to how many goals have been fulfilled
- Publish LeaderBoard on HomePage and CountryPage
- 5th of the month at 00:01
- Presidential elections are opened
- 6th of the month, 00:01
- Presidential elections are closed
- The Campaign Goals (must be permanent goals) of the winning candidate become New National goals
- Remove Displayed Latest Events
- Publish the Latest Event about New National Goals
- Remove the LeaderBoards
- 15th of the month at 00:01
- Party president elections are opened
- 16th of the month, 00:01
- Party elections are closed
- 25th of the month at 00:01
- Top 5 parties set
- Congress elections are opened
- 26th of the month, 00:01
- Congress elections are closed
