(United Kingdom Progression Party)

The UKPP is the party of the new player. There are no 'behind closed doors' decisions or executive groups and the party practices a 'democracy of the masses' approach with policy formed by party conference and party balloting. In the UKPP it is not your age, strength, cash reserves or who you know that counts - It is your activity that matters.

Manifesto

Taxation Policy

30px 1% Income Tax, 99% Import Tax, 1% VAT

Citizenship Passes

30px Members elected to congress are free to use their passes at their own discretion. They shall not combine with or collude in any 'special commitee' that negates their freedom to issue such passes.

Minimum Wage

30px The UKPP favors a minimum wage increase in the medium term.

The primary reason for doing so is to restore the paramount position of the UK armed forces through the in-effect taxation of private MU's. This does however require infrastructural changes to the national army that can only be acheived at National Government levels.

Donations

30px Donations from the national treasury shall only be approved of if the recipient source is amonst those listed as a 'national' organisation.

The practice of certain parties 'shaving' cash off into organisations under their own control will not be supported, let alone practiced by the party.

Impeachment

30px The party will respect the democratic choice of the entire UK populace and will not seek to remove a sitting CP unless inactive or requested. Other parties MAY however seek to push out a rival in which case any UKPP members of congress are free to vote as they desire.

Natural Enemy

30px The party will not launch an attack on any other nation unless said nation has launched an NE of their own or is occupying UK national regions.

MPP

No Policy

New Citizen Fee

No Policy

Community Programs

30px The UKPP is strongly in favor of a national army, open to all members equally.

15px Funding will not be provided for Private MU's.

15px Any UK organised strikes will not discriminate against due to age, rank or skill. We all pay taxes evenly and thus are entitled to the receipts of our labours.

15px The national command will be apolitical in nature and not subject to the monthly 'reward' appointment by the latest CP.

30px The UKPP supports the social programs run by the Bank of England to enable newer players to get a leg-up into self sustainability.

15px Programs will be open to allcomers, in-game and at fair return.

15px Diversification of companies will be practiced and aimed at helping players achieve Q5 town hall status.

15px Special additions on top of the national allocation will be provided to those willing to support the national army.

30px The UKPP believes in the practice of bi-national foreign relations. whilst we can be described as Pro-ONE by nature of our feeling towards a majority of their members, being a member of ONE does not work for us in our natural geo-strategic location.

Joining was a poor reactive move driven by fear once the current government realised what many of us had told them and they had driven the UK to the point of facing a wipe!

We would therefore withdraw from official participation and return the UK back to its previous stance on world affairs where the nation is free to make its friends and choose its own path.

Party Programs

Royal Navy MU

The Military Unit was created to give the members of UKPP a platform to follow orders and give them the ability to not only complete two missions but gain daily rewards for fighting in the right area. All of this will benefit the UK as a whole as the members rank up faster and use their damage for important battles. The goal of the UKPP military was simply to allow people to have somewhere to fight and make sure that the damage was directed better.

The Royal Navy is the only party military not under control of the UK MoD and the only MU to actually cause the enemy any damage - Denying Canada a 20% food bonus in a series of battles in Europe.

Food Drive

The UKPP runs a free food delivery service for all its members (currently 70 Q5 food a week) delivered every Sunday.

To be eligible the party member must be a member of the Royal Navy MU or any other non-political MU and to have fought and killed at least one enemy in the past week.

Saltpeter Program

The party long realised the coming collapse of the nation bought on by the current crop of national leaders and early in its political life it set-up a Slatpeter program that provides the party with the cash it needs to run its various social programs.

History

The UKPP is the newest party in the top 5 and has struggled from it s inital beginnings as a small protest group into a large party that represents those eUK players that aren't as focused on make-believe medals and ranks and/or are excluded from the 'other' community by dint of not using IRC, oldfag forums or possesing the ability to be herded like sheep.
