He is the founder of Colombianos por la Unidad party, as well as their first party president. He served as the President of Colombia, and also several terms in the Congress of Colombia. Afterwards, vonleox was a member of a small party named Movimiento antibirrinchis and today vonleox is in one of the biggest Colombian parties - Alianza Social Demócrata.

He fought in many different battles. Today he is a member of FMC Comandos Especiales, serving as 2nd Commander. Previously he was a member of MEK and Mobile Elite Korp.
