Purohueso was a Chilean who lived in the woods of Zona Austral.
He was elected in Congress and has served 9 terms as congress memberand was appointed minister.
He was elected President of Chile back in April 2009 for his country.
He was party president of Unión Social Independentista, and actually, on Por la Democracia Directa, of which he is also founder.

Purohueso was born at the Patagonia, Argentina at day 265 of the New World in a remote village near the actual border with Chile.
The location isn't well remembered by him, since he moved fast to the nearest city in order to get in touch with the Argentinian society, but it's presumable that would had been one of those assentaments of proto-echileans citizens, which represented a huge part of the population in the province these days, that existed along the valleys of the Andes.
