Daily Tasks
Daily tasks are simple reminders of what a player should do every day in order to maintain activity.
They consist of two main actions: working at your job or on your land and training on the training grounds and can be accessed either by clicking the "My Places" tab or the handy reminder on your homepage.
Work
Working is an essential part of your e-life. It is how the food and weapons we all use are made and afforded but also one way the government can run essential schemes (via Income Tax.).
You can choose to work for someone else and/or yourself.
Getting a Job
To start with you will need to get a job. There are vacancies all over the world, which can be accepted from the Job market. Any job will pay you in your citizenship currency, but you must be within the borders of a nation to accept an offer from within that country.
A company's customization level is displayed in stars below the company name. This has no bearing on you as an employee.
You are contracted to this employer for three days, and whilst they can fire you in this time they cannot they lower your wage and you cannot resign.
How to work
Clicking on the “My Places” tab, or the Daily tasks link on the homepage will direct you to your companies page.
Provided you have accepted a job you can work one job, once a day from here by clicking on the “Work” button. You will spend 10 health Points and receive your agreed upon wage minus income tax.

My Companies
To begin with Plato gifts new players 3 Grain farms and a Q1 Food Factory. These are low productivity but help with the burden of buying food, or add to the income of lower level players.
To work in your companies yourself you need not look for a job in one, just select the “Work as manager” option next to any of the companies you own along with the amount of finished product down the side of the screen, a total cost in health and raw materials is given below. If you are happy with the cost/benefit all you have to do is click “Start Production” and the products will be transported into your inventory to be consumed or sold as you like.
Hard Worker Medals
Working for 30 days in a row will add a Hard Worker medal to your profile and 5 Gold to your character.
Training

The second tab under "My Places" is the Training Grounds tab.
Training raises your military skill, which is critical on the battlefield as it determines how much influence you do which means that the higher your skill level the more help you can be in wars.
There are four types of facilities, each of which can be used once a day, which benefits a player’s Strength Military Skill rating but for different amounts, all at a cost of 10 HP and up to a maximum of 1.79 Gold. These can be upgraded for Gold to provide double the benefit at the same prices.
The most widely used and cost effective is the free training. Training is achieved by selecting training facilities in the same way as in “My Companies” and clicking the “Train” button.
Super Soldier Medals
For every 250 Strength Points you gain a Super Soldier Medal will be added to your profile and 5 Gold to your character.
Tasks completed
If you complete your daily tasks, you will get a reward of one strength and one experience point each day these tasks are completed in a row with a bonus for working five consecutive days.
To accept this reward, return to the homepage and accept it from the “Daily Tasks” window.
