The Israeli Kosher Party, or "IKP," was a short-lived a center-left political party in Israel. It was originally founded as Kadima by Hufflepuff[2]. It had 33 members, and 6/38 seats in congress
Slogan
"No pork with us."
Core Beliefs
The main focus of the party is absolute transparency in Israel's government so the people have a clear and concise understanding of current events as well as future plans. The party believes that without proper communication between Congress members and their constituents, the country loses its stability and the citizens of Israel lose power and security.[3]
Foreign Policy
Currently, the IKP's foreign affairs platform involves seeking MPPs with members of EDEN, such as Sweden, Poland, Croatia, and Norway. We are also looking to build relationships with ALA members such as Colombia. On the defense issue, the IKP would support a defense system for the Tel Aviv District.
Economic Reforms
The IKP supports higher import taxes on foreign manufactured goods, but low import taxes on all raw materials (excluding grain). The IKP supports government owned industries to provide weapons to the IDF and jobs for new citizens with low skills.
