He is also a former employee of Devil's Diamonds, a company owned by the private militia group, Crimson Devils.

Bass Junkie re-ran for senate the next month, on October 26, 2009. He was successful in this re-election. In November of 2009, he again re-ran for senate, this time in the state of New South Wales. All three times, Bass represented the Australian National Party as a candidate.
