Indonesia was originally an archipelago in South East Asia which lied along the equator between Asia and Australia, and also between the Pacific and Indian Ocean and was lied along the ring of fire. Originally Indonesia bordered Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippine, and Australia. Currently Indonesia spans across three continents and is bordered with Malaysia, Singapore, Philippine, Australia, India, China, Iran, Japan, Russia, South Africa, Brazil, and Argentina

Geography

Indonesia consists of 22 regions which consists of seven original regions, eight region originally belongs to China, four regions originally belongs to South Africa, two regions originally belongs to India and one region originally belongs to Pakistan. Some occupied region act as a military base, and some others act as an industrial center. Recently Indonesia returned Western Siberia to Russia and a Resistance War recently returned Western Australia to Australia. A mass liberation was triggered to focus Indonesia's power for the EDEN Attack

Population

At the old times, some citizens also come from neighboring Malaysia and other non-existent Asian countries. After Australia was taken over by Indonesia, several Australians stayed adding to the population. The same has happened, albeit only in part, to South Africa as well. With a few South African citizens staying in their conquered territories.

The first population boom in Indonesia started at December 15th, 2007. The second population boom started during and after the Indonesia-Australia War, in mid April 2008.

At the old time Indonesia was also home to various allies such as Hungary and Serbia. Hungarian came to Indonesia after Hungary itself was ambushed by Romania at the time of WW1. While Serbs came to Indonesia after their babyboom which results in a mass unemployment, etc. By the time both country finishes off their problem, they goes back to their home, resulting in a decrease of Indonesian population.

Currently the Population of Indonesia mainly consist of Indonesian, and was also home to various citizens from various countries and non-existent countries, most notably Macedonian.

Economy

Indonesia is one of the countries with high Gross Domestic Product and also has a large sum of Gold and National currency in their treasury. Their strongest sector is Food production. At the old times this also leads into competitions and price wars in several countries such as in the United Kingdom, Japan, and Iran. It has also lead to a deflation crisis within the Indonesian market.
Indonesia's central bank is known as National Bank of Indonesia.

Taxes

Indonesia has a fairly equal tax on every products. At the Beta-Version Indonesia was successfully adapting the taxes to the condition of the market, which lead to the economical stability of the nation. On July, 2009, at the time of President NicoSianipar, the Government and Congress of Indonesia agreed a new law that all taxes, with the exception of hospital and defense system, are raised. As the time passes hospital and DS taxes are raised as well. On the 18th of October, 2009, again the Government make a radical change to the tax rate, in an attempt to increase the national budget

Political Parties

Indonesia currently has 34 political parties. The official and active eIndonesian party are:

	Indonesian Defensive Socialist	IDS	Formed on December 19, 2007 by om_mudakir and Narawastu. This party was formed by people who are disappointed by the current government. This party attract many new players and later on become the biggest party in eIndonesia with over 800 members.
	Partai Republik eIndonesia	PReI	Formed 10 August 2008, this was once Partai Suka-Suka, taken over by a group of gamers. Overtime this party grow and is now ranked second with over 400 members
	Partai Rakyat Merdeka™	PRM	Formed 12 January, 2008 by hudiyawan, flik_kenni, telorkuda, semarangindah, dan habisi_aku. Just like IDS, this party was formed due to the disappointment to the government. But this time they are disappointed by IDS itself. Currently PRM is the sixth party in Indonesia with over 200 members, and was the only party to hold a trademark in It's name.
	Narcissist	NCS	Narcissist was the first party formed in Indonesia. Formed by Ayoe_f_r, it was the first party to settle an Indonesian government, along with AGIP. Currently it was ranked fifth with over 300 members.
	Partai Komunis eIndonesia	PKeI	Formed 11 March 2008. This party mimics the Real - Life Communist Party of Indonesia[1]. It is long known to be un-friendly to IDS. Recently PKeI has been known as a former of GESTAPU, a military group forming rebels in various regions of Indonesia, in an attempt to light up the situation, and celebrating the RL - 44 years of the 30 September PKI Movement[2]. Currently PKeI is ranked fourth with over 300 members

Head of State

People's Representative Council

The Indonesian People's Representative Council, know in eRepublik as congress, was a Government bodies directly elected by the people of Indonesia. Along with the Government the PRC do a regular meeting discussing various national problems. In most time Indonesian Congress formed by 6 political parties, with PRM often being represented by other - top five parties.

Indonesia has the 3rd largest military force in Erepublik, with more than 2500 soldiers.
Angkatan Bersenjata Erepublik Indonesia (ABeRI) is the military organisation system implemented by Indonesia to manage soldiers and logistics needed during war.
With enough money in their treasury to wage war, Indonesia is one of the prominent superpowers in Erepublik.

• In April 2008, Indonesia declared war against Australia, it ended with all Australian territories taken by Indonesia.
  
• In June 2008, Indonesia declared a war against South Africa, it ended with half of Africa being taken over by Indonesia, a truce was then signed saving South Africa the loss of the rest of it's territories.
  

Indonesian paratroopers, known as BATIK also dispatched in Russia to help against a Norwegian invasion.

Media

Indonesia has an active media sector. With news turn over that could made a newspaper disappear within a few hours from the recent news list. Most Indonesian news are on topic and affiliated only with Erepublik thanks to the scrutiny of censorship from the Ministry of Media, nonetheless there are still some junk news published by media newcomers. Prominent newpapers in Erepublik are Dunia Dalam Berita (international news in Bahasa Indonesian), Pikirin Rakyat (domestic news in Bahasa Indonesian), STAR Magazine and also Berita Sehat (international news in Bahasa Indonesian, domestic news in English).

As the player boom reached a new high, more and more bogus articles were posted which was not related to the game itself. To combat this problem, the Indonesian Government appointed a new Minister of Media in order to control the problem.

History

November 2007

Indonesia was colonised on the 22nd of November 2007. Its first citizen was Isnuwardana. His first action was setting up the first company, PT Sehat (now Yayasan Sehat), a hospital company. On the next day, from his friend, PT Golizen Persada (now Rumah Sehat Lima Sempurna) was founded. On the 23rd, Indonesia had its first newspaper, Heavenly Living, and its first publication from Berita Sehat. Realising that Indonesia needed a food companyt, PT Harapan Wijaya (now under the brand Chocolate & Roses) was established. isnuwardana sold PT Sehat to Swastyayana, put it on hold, then worked in PT Harapan Wijaya to provide food in Indonesia.
As more people came, (especially from e-samarinda.com), Indonesia saw the establishment of the first moving and weapon company: Intercont. Express and Paradig Corp on November 26th.
Realising that Indonesia had no government whatsoever, and also preparing for the upcoming General Election, ayoe_f_r established the Narcissist (NCS)party on the 27th, while sulistiowidodo found the Amazing Great Indonesian Party (AGIP) one day after. At that time NCS consisted mostly citizen coming from e-samarinda.com forum, while the other joined AGIP.

December 2007

On the first two days of December, Erepublik run their first general election. Finally, on the 3rd of December 2007, the government of Erepublik of Indonesia is established, as ayoe_f_r from NCS won the election. Meanwhile the Congress of Indonesia consisted of only 2 people isnuwardana from NCS and sulistiowidodo from AGIP.

• On the 10th, First Erepublik party leader election resulted in no party leader change.
• On the 15th, an Erepublik promotion in kaskus.us eventually turned into a

population boom in Indonesia, with hundreds of people signed up through invitation. On this event, Indonesia established its first gift company: PT GATARA now IndoGift. The population boom created many problems, especially lack of food. Others turned to see what the other countries had done. When they saw Kaleb from United Kingdom and Korbin King from USA established a banking system, Indonesian people demanded the same, thus Bank Erepublik Indonesia was founded as the first simulated organisation on the 19th.

On the 20th, regional elections were held. AGIP won seats in most regions. Eventually people saw NCS incapable to handle the population boom. This condition lead to the establishment of the Indonesian Defensive Socialist (IDS) by om_mudakir, ex-mayor of Lesser Sunda islands. This new party eventually attracted many new Indonesians. The end of December also saw the establishment of the Erepublik Indonesia forum.

January 2008

In the new years celebration, Erepublik held its second general election and om_mudakir won with a landslide. The majority of the Congress was also taken by the new IDS party, up to 36 seats, while 16 went to NCS and 8 to AGIP. On the 5th, Indonesia finally made it into the top 5 in Economic and also population size, making Indonesia more prominent in the Erepublik world. This was followed by the announcement of the Indonesian coat of arms, made by Arwah Agrie.

Unsatisfied with AGIP's performance, the members of AGIP changed their party president to bohlamon on the 10th. Also on this day, the government of Indonesia also started began funding of the Yayasan Sehat hospital project, and its first hospital finished a week later. It turns out since the rise of IDS as the ruling party, several citizen were unsatisfied with the rules set by government. One of the reaction to this was the founding of the Partai Rakyat Merdeka (PRM) by habisi_aku on the 12th.

Some other improvements in the Indonesian community are the establishment of KERIS, the Indonesian intelligence agency on the 13th, and also Publik Lotere, the first implementation of lottery system in Erepublik on the 14th. On the next day, Indonesia started its diplomacy with the establishment of an embassy in Japanese forums. One day before the second regional election, BNI46 was starting to operate as a saving fund bank.

Finally, the Indonesian economy found their first challenge as they faced an open trade dispute with the United Kingdom on the 24th.

February 2008

• On the 1st of February the General Elections were held. habisi_aku won more votes from om_mudakirm, however; the final vote count from admin put om_mudakir as president on the second term.

• On the 6th, om_mudakir dreams to have a full hospital service throughout Indonesia is realised with 7 Q1 hospitals.
  
• On the third party leader election, several successions happened with NCS having a change of leader to isnuwardana, AGIP changed leader to cybershock, and IDS changed leader to yanezu.
  
• On the 12th, Indonesia begun talks with Pakistan and finally on the 18th, a Non Aggression Agreement between Indonesia and Pakistan was signed.
  
• On the 27th, Blackhorse Company Investigation, now called BIMA, established as a clone detecting agency, creating controversies within Indonesian community.

March 2008

• On the fourth Erepublik general election, isnuwardana from NCS (in coalition with PRM and AGIP) has more vote than yanezu from IDS. However, the final decision from admin put yanezu from IDS as the third president of Indonesia.
  
• At the end of February, several people from Indonesia migrated to China and established the Liberal Party of China, eventually taking control of the government in the 1st March general election.
  

On the 10th, the fourth party election resulted with IDS under sirhc, PRM with semarangindah and AGIP change leader to malique.

• On the 11th Partai Komunis eIndonesia was established as the fifth party in Erepublik Indonesia.
  
• On the 18th, President yanezu was banned temporarily by the admin, admittedly due to the misconduct in the exchange money system. Related to this, isnuwardana as an opposition declared a motion of no confidence to the president, bringing much turmoil within Indonesia.
  

On the 25th, ABeRI, the Indonesian Military Organisation finally took form after several weeks of preparation.

• On the 31st, just 12 minutes before general elections, IDS release their statement to support the PRM candidate, semarangindah, as the next President of Erepublik of Indonesia.
  

April 2008

• On the 1st April General Election, semarangindah from PRM were gaining more votes at first. However, unsatisfied with IDS' statement, some IDS supporters still voted for sirhc, their party president, as the next president. With IDS divided, isnuwardana from NCS unexpectedly gained more votes and won the election. In the congress, IDS still have the most seats, folowed by NCS and PRM having same number and PKI and AGIP in the last.
  

Around 50-100 citizen were lost to the ban during this election due to multi-accounting, some users came from real world universities and companies sharing the same IP address. Indonesia also lost it's influence in China due to this ban.

• On the 6th, a food bazaar program held by the Kalimantan regional party backfired to the government as several food GMs (general managers) protested, the new government was not yet ready to handle such an incident.
  
• On the 13th, a proposal for war against Australia is released to congress, and on the 14th, war was officially declared between Indonesia and Australia.
  
• On the 15th, Indonesia conquered the Australian regions of Queensland (capital Brisbane), Northern Territory (capital Darwin) and Western Australia (capital Perth).
  
• On the 16th, South Australia (capital Adelaide) was captured, and on the 17th New South Wales (capital Canberra, also capital of Australia) and Victoria (capital Melbourne) were also conquered.
  
• On the 17th, the last battle was in Tasmania (capital Hobart), it eventually ended on the 18th, with Indonesia securing all Australia regions within Indonesian territory.
  

The end of the Indonesia Australia war also marked the beginning of a population boom in Indonesia, with many citizens coming as refugees to the Australian region. New real life Indonesian Citizens were also attracted due to promises of more war and dominance.

• On the 28th, Indonesia signed an MPP with Germany and Russia to counteract a similar MPP with South Africa, triggering a massive attack by Sweden and Norway to both countries before the MPP was activated. Most Indonesian paratroopers were sent to help Russia.
  
• On the 30th, Indonesia prepared a political take over of the South African government to counteract Sweden and Norway's declaration of war.

May 2008

• On the May 1st general election, blink-az from IDS won more votes, making him the fifth president of Erepublik Indonesia. His first action was to settle the aftermath of the successful political take over of the South African government; due to the Indonesia-Nordic Alliance incident. After that, his focus was on the development of the Indonesian economy.
  
• On May 11th, Indonesia population reaches over 2000 citizens.
• On May 26th, Indonesia become the most populated country in Erepublik with more than 2200 citizens.
• On May 30th, in the Germany-Poland War, tension rises between RaFee, a presidential candidate, against delacroixe which sided with Poland.

June 2008

• RaFee won as the president of Indonesia for June. His election brought several new tensions between IDS and PKeI because of an incident of an account take over during Germany Poland War and also some PKeI multi-accounters participating in the election.
  
• On June 10th, Indonesia declared a war against South Africa which started on the 11th. After securing the Eastern Cape region of South Africa, this war was suspended by the admin until further notice since June 15th.

November 2008

• November 8 - Australian Independence War began in the province of New South Wales.

• Indonesian and Australian leaders agree to the Agreement for the Independence of Australia, allowing the freedom of Victoria and New South Wales

February 2009

• 4 countries appear and 3 of them were Indonesian neighbours, which are Malaysia, Phillipine and Singapore (and Serbia). For prevention of taking over by using political manner from their rival, some Indonesian citizen take inisiative to help their neighbours to develop their political movement by lending gold to create a political party or became the advisor for the new country in order to support maturity process. n3m0 helped Philippines by lending money ^[3], Masila became advisor of Woshiempire^[4], Bong created a party in Malaysia.
• Indonesia drop to the fifth, after Hungary player increasing, reaching above 5500 people. Hungary become number fourth in the number of population, while Indonesian pop now 5540 (Feb 26th 2009)
• Southern Thailand was attacked by Indonesia, in order to reach border with Romania.
• 7 regions originally from India, captured by Indonesia, they are Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Jammu and Kashmir, Maharashtra, Northern India, Rajasthan, and Tamil Nadu.
• Indonesia return Pampas to Argentina after internal discussion between Argentina government and Indonesian government reach a deal.
• Border with Romania, Indonesian mortal enemy, by captured some regions, which are Balochistan, North-West Frontier Province, Sindh, Tibet and Xinjiang^[5], wiping out all the original territory of Pakistan.

March 2009

• First impeachment proposal proposed for Indonesia presiden, Don Agung the winner from the president election, the impeachment succeed and the second winner, gagah replace Don Agung and lead Indonesia.
• Indonesian population on March 4th 2009 reach 6098.
• Government place Q5 Defense System dan Hospital in Xinjiang.
• Kape conducted a RW in Balochistan but failed.
• Indonesia conquered the last remaining territories of India, which are Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, and Madhya Pradesh. India swept away from the map..
• Indonesia win against Romania, with helped of PEACE GC in Western Siberia.
• Sichuan was conquered by Indonesia in the war versus Pakistan.
