Joseph Kalinin is a citizen of Turkey. He was born in Marmara region of Turkey in day 489 of the New World.
He started his life as a worker in the factories of Marmara. While working in the factory, he realized the unjust ways of life and joined an illegal socialist movement. He used to run the newspaper G E L E N E K. Following the illegalization of the paper, he founded another newspaper under the name of -Granma-.
Political Life
Kalinin, after joining the socialists worked hard and developed itself with Marxist-Leninist theory. He, then, joined the political party Demokratik Halk Cephesi (People's Democratic Front). He quickly made his way with his political and theoretical knowledge. He became the president of the party and served for 2 terms. After having a split in the party, he founded the Socialist Workers' Party. During the Greek-Turkish war, him and his friends are called to be traitors.
