Geography
Turkey lies in the south-east of Europe and connects Asia to Europe. The capital city is Ankara which lies in the center of Turkey. Turkey borders Iran to the east, Bulgaria to the north-west, and Greece to the west.

Population
Nationalities
Turkey consists of Predominately Turkish citizens, however it also consists of a large minority of Slavomacedonians which live throughout the country.
Language
The Language used in the Turkish Government is Turkish. Although the Turkish Media predominantly communicates in Turkish, minorities often write articles in English, Hebrew and cyrilic Slavomacedonian.
National Anthem
The official anthem of Turkey is İstiklal Marşı (Independence March).
Marriages
The first marriage in Turkey took place on March 19th, 2008, between giselle and ultraslanzh.[1]
The second one took place on September 16th, 2008, between PrincessMedyPi and tekyoldevrim.[2]
The third one took place on January 2009, between Xtasia and BattalGazi.

Provisional Constitution of Turkey : Link
This constitution was drafted by Phaedrus Lidox in August 2008 and is heavily based on the Greek Constitution. It has not been accepted by Turkish Congress, yet.
The Turkish National Assembly's also keep going their works for new, modernized Turkish Constitution.

Turkey has an extremely active media. As of September 28, 2008, there are 1156 newspapers and a total of 4060 articles.
There have been instances of media censorship in eTurkey, specifically a clampdown on using "Ataturk" in a disparaging way. This came to a head in early August 2008 in an incident referred to as "The Ataturk Ultimatum."

eRepublik TV
One of the first television broadcasts in eRepublik was done in Turkey. "eRepublik TV" was founded by D&B Media Company. And Burakkocamis[4] manages Turkeys first television.
The first one was in a different nation during the months of May, June and July. [5]
Sports
Turkey is also the proud country where the first sport originated. Football has originated in the new world from Turkey. Football was played by Turkish people for a long time and then it was introduced to the rest of the world. Everyone loved the game football in the new world and it quickly became popular as the first sport in the new world. Srachit has been given the job to make the wiki pages for FIFA the governing body of Football. A lot of work has been done on the wiki pages of FIFA already but as it is a massive project it is taking time. Information on football can be found here
