He was in political party HLD (Croatian Liberal Democrats) but was never running for congress or had other political ambitions. Lately he joined party SKH (Communist party of eCroatia).

He joined military since beginnings, joining Vatreni Gusteri, squad12. After canceling that squad, he went with others to form another, new military unit - Hrvatski sokolovi where he stayed til the end.
